Becoming editor unavailable?

Hi,

 

I tried to make an editor application early January but the service was temporarily unavailable. Now I tried it again late February but the service was still unavailable. I am curious, what has actually happened at DMOZ? What do you think when does the application service become available again?

You can find out what happened by reading the prominent announcement at the top of every forum.

 

I'm afraid we don't know when the editor application function will be enabled again.

Just thought I'd let everyone know because it took me a while to figure it out. You're probably not as slow as me though.

 

PS Hope the tech problems are resolved soon!!! I'm anxious to start reviewing coffee-related sites. I love my coffee!

There's only one announcement prominently displayed at the top of every forum (highlighted in yellow, no less).

The editor application system is available again. The announcement (highlighted in yellow at the top of each forum) has been updated.
