leer Posted March 26, 2004 Posted March 26, 2004 What makes you think that you can't get listed? In the first instance you should post a message in the Submission Status thread and see if your suggestion is waiting. Before you ask it status it is very important that you read the [readme]guidelines[/readme] so as to format the request in a way an editor can check for you.
thehelper Posted March 28, 2004 Posted March 28, 2004 I don't think we would list your site in the directory. We do not list sites that exist to have a user fill out an online form and have someone get back to them. That is what we call a lead generation site and that type of site is not eligible for a listing in dmoz.org. Please do not take that as a judgement of your sites worthiness. I am not saying your site is a bad site - it just does not qualify for a listing under our editorial guidelines. Best of luck to you!
Jshaver Posted March 29, 2004 Author Posted March 29, 2004 What would I need to do. Should I Take out the contacts and Quotes? Every single one under auto lease has a form to fill out. Just want to understand so I can make the the changes needed and not have to wait a year. Thanks John I just went and made sure the other sites listed were set up the same. over 70 of them. So do I just need to Word It another way? Thanks for any help and your time.
thehelper Posted March 29, 2004 Posted March 29, 2004 No, I would not change the site. I looked at the category and the other sites listed and it appears that is the standard for your industry.
Jshaver Posted March 29, 2004 Author Posted March 29, 2004 I guess it has not been denied? Thanks for your time and efforts. John
Alucard Posted March 29, 2004 Posted March 29, 2004 This has now evolved into a status type discussion, which duplicates what you have going in this thread. http://resource-zone.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=12459 I suggest we continue over there.
