spammed / banned?

Hi,

 

I maybe have a problem and I would like to know about your policy about this.

 

When I launched my website, a friend said he would help me to get listed and used software to submit my site to hundreds of search engines and directories.

 

He showed me how to use it and told me I should re-submit every week for about two months.

 

As I thought he would know what he was talking about I followed his guidelines and did just so.

 

I found out that I also submitted to your directory. *slaps himself*

 

Did this cause my website to get banned? or do you just delete the spamming .

We just delete multiple submissions, leaving one for review.

 

If you reused the same settings (i.e. the same DMOZ category + URL), each new suggestion has overwritten the previous one, so only the most recent will have survived.
