jmeager Posted November 28, 2008 Posted November 28, 2008 Hi all, I've just submitted to the DMOZ - very much looking forward to getting the listing online! I've realised that I have submitted my company's site to the wrong category - I didn't notice the regional shopping section - ideal for the musical instrument supplier I work for. However, I think (!) I submitted us under the standard shopping, not regional specific. Is there any way I can inform DMOZ prior to it getting listed, and hopefully get the listing up quicker as it will be in the correct category? Thankyou in advance, Jonathan Meager <URL removed>
jimnoble Posted November 28, 2008 Posted November 28, 2008 A website can be listed in the Topical Shopping category (if it meets the requirements) and in a Regional category (if it's relevant). Suggest it again.
jmeager Posted November 28, 2008 Author Posted November 28, 2008 Hi jim, Thanks for the quick reply, really appreciate it I'll get another submission in straight away. Thanks again Jonathan Meager
camarilladee Posted May 17, 2009 Posted May 17, 2009 thanks It seems I've made a similar error (having submitted to a category that wasn't specific enough) I'm glad to find this reply as I was worried that if I resubmitted that it would end in me being labeled a spammer Definately don't want that. Thanks for this question and reply.
