While searching the directory for items about the Semantic Web I noticed that the entry for SMIL (Synchronised Multimedia Integration Language) is at the same directory level as XML. This is at the same level as other XML vocabularies such as SVG. From a purely structural point of view, the XML vocabularies should branch from that of XML so that it becomes easier to spot which markup languages have namespaces which can be easily integrated. I don't think it makes much difference at this point as there aren't many entries in these categories. WML (Wireless Markup Language) should perhaps also be listed with the other XML vocabularies. Problems Loggin In

Dumb is me. I moved the site to do some maintenance and upgrades on the main server. I forgot to set a variable to enable cookies. If you were logged in before the switch you would remain logged in, but, if you weren't you couldn't log in. It's all fixed now. Everyone should be able to log in. We should be back on the main server by tommorrow. Unless I mess something up again.

I have moved the site to a backup server so I can do maintenance on the main server. If you receive any errors when posting it is because the software used on the backup is all beta quality and shouldn't be used on a production server. The upgrades I have planned are rather lenghty and I didn't want any extended downtime. Plaese bear with us until the upgardes are complete.

I just noticed the forums must have been indexed by Google. I have not searched for them but I noticed it on my Google Toolbar. Page rank is low but that's probably due to the way Googles been acting during this update. Dave S.
