Hello! I'm new here. I've been browsing tons of forums for an idea of what to do. I was laid off from my job about 3 month ago. I've been looking for a job since then, but did not even get a single interview. I worked as a web designer for a publishing company for the last 5 years. Hello all members of DMOZ. I have been searching through a lot of topics recently, and i have noticed many webmasters complain over, 1- 'Dmoz does not submit my site. It is not worth it!' 2- 'I have been trying to submit my site for many many years now, Why is it not getting submitted..' My answer to the first Question is, Why do you submit your site to Dmoz then? Oh boy am I happy to find Curlie! I've been getting rather frustrated lately in that the web has become a boring dystopic waste land of corporate wannabe's, and all of the personal flavor that was supposed to make the WWW fun is being lost. We all knew AOL wasn't the benevolent dictator it pretended to be, and DMOZ's demise was tragic and inevitable.
