Submitted a site on the 26th nov, it was looked at less than 24 hours later by an Editor, and today it is in the Dmoz directory. And it was submitted to a cat that has no editor! Thank you very much to the Dmoz Editor (whoever you are) who cleaned up that particular Cat <img src="/images/icons/laugh.gif" alt="" />

Those of you interested in one of the ODP's sister sites - http://open-site.org/ - they have opened a public forum that works in a similar way to Resource Zone. You can find the forum here: http://open-site-talk.org/ Those of you who don't know anything about Open Site, it's an open content encyclopedia with an ontology inspired by the ODP's. The forum will allow members of the public to report abuse, ask questions (also in foreign languages) - and hopefully it will make it more clear that Open Site isn't a directory. Don't feel compelled to go, but if you're interested in the ODP, then you could be interested by Open Site.

I just tried to login and I can't login. It says my account is not found, but when I do the password email option to get my password it sends it to me. My profile page is also showing up fine. Any idea of what is wrong?

problems logging on to editors forums

Hi all - I've been an editor for a whole hour and already I need help <img src="/images/icons/smile.gif" alt="" /> I'm unable to log on to the editors forums - my username/password work fine for these public forums as well as for my editor page, but I cannot access the restricted editors forums. I have the trouble with both Opera and IE, and with my firewall both on and off. Is there a simple solution to this problem that I haven't sussed yet, or is something else going on? Many thanks for any advice!

I tried to login today and a message came up saying "Login Removed", is anyone else seeing this or have I indeed been removed? I would find it hard to realize that I was removed because I have had 2 good comments from meta editors in the last month and was runner up in the best new Science editor. Could someone please clarify, thanks.

Hi all, I have a domain registered as a framed redirect to another domain, but the search engines always miss out it's sub-pages. framed-domain.com - indexed real-domain.com - indexed framed-domain.com/2.htm - missed real-domain.com/framed-domain/2.htm - indexed Is there any way around this or do I NEED to buy seperate webspace for each redirected domain for it to be indexed properly? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks. Andy.

So I'm clicking around the forum today, and I start browsing around in the status check forums. At first it was amusing, but then it started to get on my nerves. . . and I'm not even an editor who has to reply to people.
