this client emailed me in a panic yesterday and found that their site had been dropped altogether from Google. i did some research and found them in the appropriate categories, such as Shopping > Home and Garden > Home Improvement > Hardware > Decorative > Switchplates, but listed at the bottom because the PageRank was zero - although it had the highest number of other sites linking to it. this site has been on the net since 1996, and went through a revision about 5 months ago. until a few days ago, for the past 7 years it always came up in the first or second position when a search was performed on "switch plates". could the directory listing have anythin…
