I recently submitted http://www.headfirsthandsfree.com to the following category: http://dmoz.org/Regional/Europe/United_Kingdom/Business_and_Economy/Shopping/Consumer_Electronics/Communications/Wireless/Accessories/ and would appreciate it if someone could advise if it is still in the queue to be reviewed or if it has been rejected. If it is still in the queue how long should I wait before I pick a different category to speed matters up? Thanks, Kari.

Hi There, I want to thank you for the oppurtunity to post a message here. I have been trying to get a second listing for our site in http://dmoz.org/Recreation/Outdoors/Snowmobiling/Touring/. I realize that there is no editor for that catagory, but there is an editor for the general snowmobiling catagory. I have been tempted to email him directly, but wanting to follow the rules, my better judgement has told be to keep trying and be patient. BTW- I did apply to be an editor a while back, but was rejected. 1st of all, I think that the dmoz is doing the internet a great service. As for me, I'm learning the ropes =) I figured out most of the rules and thought I got it right.. ugh! The 1st time I applied to be listed there was an error in my browser and so I applied again and at that time figured that I applied for the wrong CAT -- opps, sorry for the spam. I've really messed up and tried again.. I need some help here. I paid for a service to get our site listed and in two days our site was everywhere, now that AOL and others use dmoz, we are no longer listed. Hi, I've submitted www.4outdoorfun.com a few times over the past 4 or 5 months to the category Shopping: Recreation: Outdoors which I think is the appropriate place since I sell camping and outdoor equipment. One time, just after I entered the submission my internet line dropped so I'm not sure if it was submitted. I think I've followed all the guidelines, yet I haven't been listed or heard from anyone. Hey everybody, I submitted my site http://www.masteringadwords.com to the directory http://dmoz.org/Computers/Internet/Searching/Search_Engines/Google/ This was around 3 to 4 weeks back. I use a website stats software that gives me the list of referrer pages. Last week, I noticed that one of the visitor has been referred by DMOZ.org Am I right in assuming that the visitor to my site is the editor of the category I submitted to? Now it has almost been one week since I got the mystery visit from DMOZ but my website has still not been listed in the directory. Do I need to assume that the editor rejected my listing? hi, I submitted logoringo.com to Regional/Europe/United_Kingdom/.../Ring_Tones,_Graphics_and_Logos/ and as far as I can tell it was accepted. I then did some searching and it appeared in the google directory, until googles recent crawl ousted it. I have a feeling I may have submitted it twice (accidently not checking for a listing forst). I submitted my site indecision.co.nz/blog to the category http://dmoz.org/Computers/Internet/On_the_Web/Weblogs/Personal/S/ around a month ago (possibly a little more). I was hoping someone could tell me about the status of this submission. The reason why I am enquiring is that I am unexpectedly running out of room on that domain so will be moving this site soon (hopefully less than a week) to a new url. I don't know how this will affect my submission but figure that finding out it's status would be a good start to sorting things out.
