Having been a lurker for some time decided to submit a site for the business and society section. When entering the data had completed all fields but on pressing send I got a message asking to enter e-mail and others that had already been entered. The site is for a local not for profit organisation - http://www.ayrshirebic.co.uk - and I don't want to simply assume that has not gone through and re-submit as would breach guidelines etc. Do I just wait and see or is there any way of checking? Thanks for any comment / input to a novice. Robin

Hi, I am not a web master(?) designer, so I'm not the most knowledgable about these things. I just like to do my own stuff. Ok, call me cheap! Please accept my apology if my question or post sounds dumb. I have submitted my site for inclusion and am not really sure of the status, whether declined etc. I don't want to "not" re-submit the site if it was declined by a specific editor in a specific category as there are several catagories under Real Estate that this site would fit, in addition to knowing every editor will have thier own view of "site value". Thanks so much for the update, regardless of the DMOZ/Editors decisions, I know most everyone appreciates…

Dear Editors, Couple of months back I have suggested one site of our associates for regional topic. After waiting for about two and half months, I thought that the site is rejected by you, may be due to wrong selection of category, as it was suggested under particular local area topic. I thought to resubmit the same in the particular business category. After submitting the same, when I was just checking the url, I notice the original submission goes through. Believe me it was totally unintentionally. I am sorry for not having the patience and suggested the same again. Kindly let me know under the circumstances what shall I do? Thanx and rgds esemji

Thank you for closing my previous thread. Onestopcaradvice has currently no legal action to bring towards the owners. So therefore i am requesting a "subject Access Request" from you about him and his web site. This should then inform me as why this site was removed, and also as you have said that you will not under no circumstances re list, will give full reasons for this. http://www.bugge.com In the beginning of March I submitted the URL of the title in the category: http://dmoz.org/Business/Publishing_and_Printing/Publishing/Books/Fiction/Fantasy/ The site is descriptive rather than promotional, with only links to ordering the fairy tale/fantasy. However, being the publisher, I believed it was the right place, but I would not object to another place in the ODC. I just wonder whether it has been reviewed, and if rejected, why.
