Hi, I sumbitted my site to a category in January and the site has not yet been listed. Now I think that it maybe the wrong category, can I resubmit to a different category without getting penalized? My site is a water conservation site providing product and services to the Irish market. Thank you for your help. Smart Energy

Hello guys, I have submitted my website <URL removed>, in the following Catogery:- Regional : Middle East : Cyprus : Kyrenia District : Kyrenia : Travel and Tourism : Lodging : Vacation Rentals, I can't exactly recall the date of submission but it was around August, september, 2012. I have not received any confirmation of reciept of submission or outcome. I would be very gratful for any advice . Many thanks

Hi, everyone. I want to submit my website, and I need some suggestion on the category that it should be put in. The main function of my website is to helps cross-cultural couples to communicate. We have translation (for lovers)/ live interpretation (for lovers)/ cross-cultural Counseling. Here's a list of the categories that I find are good to put it. Society/Relationships Business/translation (here could be many since we have more than one language) Regional/Thailand Regional/China Which one would you recommend? Dear Dmoz team, I *think* I suggested an URL to dmoz 6/8months ago but I can't remember for sure. The URL is not listed but it could be pending/rejected. Is there a tool to check the "suggestion date" for a specific URL ? I would not want to be penalized for resubmitting the same URL Thank you, -Franck

Hello All , I submitted my site <url removed> months ago to DMOZ , I spend enough time reading the guidelines and did add it to the right category, but still can’t see my website added to the consultants category. The only directory where I'd like to see my website is DMOZ, but I do not understand the reason why it is not added. This is not illegal arguments or copyright infringement, is well indexed on Google and has a good popularity in Italy. :blink: Indeed, many of the articles, guides, or tutorials available on my site are in the top of the search query on Google, the first result. What is the process for a bulk upload of a large number of sites? I manage the marketing for over 100 physician's websites and would like to know if there was an easier way than than manual one by one submission process? Is there a way to send over an excel spreadsheet with the formatted fields? Also what is the process for edits? Can this be done the same way? Thanks, Adam

I personally submitted my Professional Social Comunity website <URL removed> in DMOZ under the following directory a long back http://www.dmoz.org/...ial_Networking/ But Not getting any response. This is hurting me and all users. I know the importance of DMOZ listing and because of that huge number of website owner might be trying to list it down. That's why DMOZ is taking time to review. Hoping an Editor will read my concern over here and do something for that. I am not asking to list it down but at least review it and let me know. We are a private investigation company and submitted our site April 4, 2011 to DMOZ> Have asked in this forum a few times about how long it takes, and other than the usual ( wait your turn ) downright rude comments, I have yet to understand why our site has not made it in the directory. <URL removed> is the site and anyone who can help us , I think two years is long enough to wait don't you?

Hello, I guess I can place my question overhere!? I want my old websitename to be replaced for the new one, but if I want to this in dmoz I can't so maybe someone who reads this can help! Hello all, My categories of metal detecting never get updated, there are more and more dead sites with 404 pages and other that have just turned into spam sites? Is there anyone that could update these categories? I did apply for admin some time ago now but got turned down. I'm new to this and started adding a few links attached to my site, when I noticed that you are only supposed to submit a link (including clones, etc...) into one classification scheme. I had submitted a link into four different schemes. I don't want to get "frozen out" so how can I rectify? I'm concerned that the site might "flag" me as an abuser...

Hello, I tried to submit a website that relates well and is non-commercial to: - http://www.dmoz.org/Society/Transgendered/Crossdressing/ - http://www.dmoz.org/Society/Relationships/Dating/Personals/Transgendered/ 3 months already passed and no response, I doubt the request was even reviewed, as categories was "last edited" February 19, 2011 and July 8, 2006. That pretty much sums it up. I really doubt there were no qualified requests since then, possibly the origonal editors just don't do it anymore? What do you recommend?

Hi there, My boss submitted his site in 2009, when he began his custom jewellery design business. I joined the company last year, and since that time, both the business and the website have undergone substantial transformation. In December 2012, we launched a brand new website under the same URL.
