Hello, I tried to submit a website that relates well and is non-commercial to: - http://www.dmoz.org/Society/Transgendered/Crossdressing/ - http://www.dmoz.org/Society/Relationships/Dating/Personals/Transgendered/ 3 months already passed and no response, I doubt the request was even reviewed, as categories was "last edited" February 19, 2011 and July 8, 2006. That pretty much sums it up. I really doubt there were no qualified requests since then, possibly the origonal editors just don't do it anymore? What do you recommend?

Hello, We had suggested our website in the wrong category twice. And recently, in March, we have suggested our URL again in the correct category. Is it possible that Dmoz has banned our website? How do I find that? And what should I do to get it listed now? Please guide me to resolve this. Thanks.

Hi, We suggested a site 5 weeks ago for our local non-profit red cross organization in Karlsruhe, Germany. It was our first and only suggestion to DMOZ. Since then, we decided to switch the main hostname and the default protocoll from HTTP to HTTPS, so that the URL we suggested to DMOZ is now a HTTP 301 Redirect. What should we do now? 1. Should we simply wait for the suggestion to be reviewed and change the URL after it might be accepted, risking that it is considered a breach to the the guideline "Redirects and 'Cloaked' URLs" and not accepted at all? 2. Hi peeps. I understand the guidance is that one should suggest a site just once and leave it at that. I also understand that there are certain standards which a site is expected to meet in order to be listed within the directory. However, is there a period of time after which it may be considered reasonable to resubmit? I ask only since I suggested my site for consideration in 2008. The category I selected is correct, my site meets all criteria/standards and there are fewer listings in the category than has been cited as the usual (though I gather that, too, isn't set in stone). Hello Everyone, moderators please help I want to understand one thing..I went to dmoz and scanned through it and went to the category , i was looking to submit my website but strangely none of the sites listed were exactly related to the category. How can i list my website their since my website is exactly related to category . Hello, we are trying to register our website in the odp for more than 12 years yes we still not give up because we really love the odp and want to be listed in it ... Hi, I made a site suggestion on 21 December 2014. I now realize that the category I have chosen might not be the best one and I noticed a better category today. I originally submitted in; Regional: Asia: Indonesia: Provinces: Bali: Travel and Tourism: Travel Services. DMOZ, We were very surprised today to discover that our national organization ALIPAC (founded 9/11 2004) had been removed from your directory. While several of our political opposition's sites, and a few of our allies sites, remain on DMOZ our primary website is no longer on your very important and influential directory. We also checked and all of our secondary websites are now missing from the DMOZ directory as well. <removed> keeps getting added and removed from dmoz. It's in the correct place and a legitimate business. Is there a reason why dmoz editors cannot decide whether to keep or remove this site from the directory? I would kindly request that my website is readded to the directory and not removed discreetly. Please let me know if my submission needs to be changed or if there's anything wrong with the website itself which is preventing the site from attaining a permanent spot within dmoz.

We are a company and submitted our site in 2012 the first time, then 2013, then 2014. to DMOZ. Nothing happens. I have yet to understand why our site has not made it in the directory. <url removed> is the site and anyone who can help us , I think two years is long enough to wait don't you?

We would like to request editors to review <url removed> and please approve it. Hi.. about 1 or 2 years back, my site, <removed> was listed under http://www.dmoz.org/Home/Family/Pregnancy/Baby_Names/. I had an issue with godaddy and my site was down for a few days. After my site came back up, I checked my listing in DMOZ and it was gone, but I was still in the search results. Now, it is completely gone. What can I do to get re-listed.
