Hello Administrators, Sorry if i disturbed you, but i just had a couple of questions. My first question is, . How are you today? My second question is, . I have successfully submitted my form a few days back, i have read all the Guidelines, and FAQ's ( Frequently asked questions ), I certainly do know it may take time and 'there is no guarantee,' you may or may not receive an email back, so i would just like to know if you have any knowledge of the status of my application ( Username Ghufran )? Hello, i am posting here to ask something that seems really strange to me. I have already applied 2 times for becoming an editor, not at the same time. I received both times a reply saying that although dmoz would like to accept me, they cannot because there are already enough editors in that category. I applied in 2 different categories in world/Greek subcategories. The strange thing is that both categories i applied are saying that an editor is being requested and i cannot narrow my category selection any more. Can anyone help me? I dont know where to ask because there is no greek forum for dmoz.

Hi all! I filled the form to become a dmoz editor a few days ago, but when I received the confirmation email, it contained an invalid link to verify my email address: the page it points to says "Not a valid key". May you please check on it? I've already sent an email to the dmoz staff, but with no luck. What do I have to do, then? Thank you all

Hello everyone, this is a bit off topic, but I would like to become an editor , and I don't really know how to go about it. I feel I have experience in the paranormal, mind body spirit niche as I do tarot card readings for a living. My computer skills are ok, but nothing like the advanced editors here on the forum. Dmoz is an exciting place and offers an opportunity to learn. My intention is to help paranormal researchers get their blogs and websites listed in DMOZ. But have no idea how to start.

Hi guys Love the DMOZ, love the work you guys do, I'm trying to become an editor and with each passing application I am growing weary as I am just filling in the same details over and over again. I am being continually told I'm wanted as an editor but the category is too big or small. The last rejection mail told me I had to narrow my focus that the category was too big but the comment said the category is too small to learn to edit. Can the people approving applications now use discretion and perhaps drop a mail to the person saying look it's too small, we'd like your involvement, mail back with other categories a little bigger or small and we'll finalise thing…

I'm already an editor but wanted to become an editor for a different category. I clicked on the "Request to be editor for another category" link and filled out the whole form, but when I tried to submit it, I got a message that said "node path is invalid." I also tried by going to that category and clicking the "edit" link on the bottom of the page, but got a message saying "User '(my username)' has no authority to 'geturlsubmission' on node '/(category)". I have no idea what either of these messages mean. Anyone know any reasons why it doesn't seem to want to let me even apply?

A little over 10 years ago, I volunteered to be an editor. I don't remember the category or my username. Plus the email address I used back then no longer exists because back then we used dial up with AOL. I would like to offer my help in volunteering to edit dental tourism and medical tourism. But I am told that I am supposed to re-open the account by signing in. But how am I supposed to sign in when I don't recall the username or password? Hi all, I applied to be an editor today (Jan 17) with the username jackbartleby in the category Shopping/Publications/Books/Family_and_Relationships/. When I clicked on the link in my verification email, I got the message "Not a valid key." Reading some other threads in this forum, it indicates that I can get that message if I click the link twice. However, I only clicked the link once, and when I go to log into my account, it gives me the error "User needs an email address verification before the user can log in."
