I applied as an editor on the 13th February under the username kjohansen. I replied to the email verification successfully, but never received any more information - this may be because the email went to my work email which has pretty strong anti-spam filters. I can change my password though (which obviously sends the verification email to my work email). Hello, I applied to become an editor late last week. I received a verification email and I clicked on the link. I understand that application review process can take time, but I just tried to logon to see if I might get to view any additional information that’s only available to those who have registered with ODP. However, I got the following error message: “User needs an email address verification before the user can login”. I am not sure if this means my application got lost during submission, or if it is simply awaiting a review. Hello. I would like to inquire as to the status of my editor application. The category I was registering to edit is http://www.dmoz.org/Games/Online/MUDs/By_Codebase/LP/Fantasy/. The editor name I selected is Tevildo, and the date was 26 May 2011. I'm fairly sure I used the verification link I was emailed, as that returns "Not a valid key" (presumably because I already clicked it). When I try to log in, though, I get "User needs an email address verification before the user can login", so I'm not entirely sure that my application is in good shape. HI DMOZ, I've forgotten my username. I have my password and my email which I used when I submitted my application, but I can't remember the username. I was going to post here and check the status of my application but don't have my username to do so. I applied for this category: http://www.dmoz.org/Society/Philosophy/Personal_Pages/Inspirational/ Thanks so much. Update: I think I have remembered my username, it is inspiremore. But when I attempt to login it says that I haven't verified my email. But when I click the email link, I get this message, "Not a valid key." Thanks for any help and any update about my status.

Hi all! So I submitted my application to become an editor a few months ago (I think). Well, just a while ago I was in DMOZ to search the Category I'd wanted to edit http://www.dmoz.org/Arts/Music/Instruments/Stringed/Guitar/Education/ which incidentally hasn't been edited in almost 3 years! :mellow: I saw a thing beside it labelled "edit" so I clicked it without even thinking and a sign-in page came up with username and password already filled in by my browser (Google Chrome). Hi, I've been applying to edit the programming game categories http://www.dmoz.org/Games/Video_Games/Simulation/Programming_Games/ especially http://www.dmoz.org/Games/Video_Games/Simulation/Programming_Games/Core_War/ for the last 7 year and have been rejected every time. I don't understand what I'm doing wrong. I've correctly disclosed my affiliations (my sites are already listed). On the editor application it requests that I list the URLs for two or three websites that I would consider good candidates for inclusion in my chosen catagory. I assume the intent is for me to find two or three websites from the internet that I would consider good candidates. What if the site owner doesn't want his/her website listed in DMOZ? Is this going to create a problem?
