Hi, Reviewer rejected my application and he not write me a reason of rejection. I am from Latvia, and sorry for my bad english. But in Latvia people need to very long wait to websites become aproved, and people don't like this, some webmasters had waited even up to 2 years. What to do? Thanks.

Hi. I have a site currently listed on dmoz but I can't get access to make necessary changes. Problem is it's been several years since i last logged in and I haven't a clue what my username and password is. There are only a few I would have used but none of them seem to work. Is there a way I can get this reset? I am prepared to provide proof of ownership of the domain in question in whatever way necessary, maybe include a verification meta tag to my homepage? Great this is the last time I fill this application. I mentioned in the application that i am a master degree holder and a research team member, I suggested a great three articles but nothing new refused without revealing the reason. You really need a huge number of editors to bring DMOZ back to life, you are not helping anybody with refusing all the applications this way. I applied with the same username i use here in case you want to invistigate the issue. Thanks,

Hi all I made an application to become an editor recently and have since received an email stating that I was not accepted. It went on to say that it might have been the cause of any one of a number of things which were listed ie;improper disclosure,wrong section,listing etc...... I have checked the details and can see nothing wrong with the application. How can I get an answer as to the specifics of the rejection? I attempted to reapply but now I get the page for "request reinstatement of editor account" which I don't believe I have. Hello there, Thank you for taking the time to read my post. I made an application to become an editor of /Society/Paranormal/Psychic/Readings/Australia/ back in December 2009 after a failed application. The editor was kind enough to leave feedback. I corrected my application based on the feedback, resubmitted and replied. I have since heard nothing back. Should I make another application or is there some kind of back log I should be aware of? I applied to become editor, but i was refused because i did not give all the sites i build. But in the guidelines i read that if you have more than 5 sites, you should only mention 5 sites. Such i did, but now i am refused to become editor because i did not enter more than 5 (all my sites) sites. Who should i follow? The guidelines from DMOZ as mentioned on the application form, or the guidelines from the editor who refused my application? Regards, Jelmer

Hey all I want to know what are the criteria for acceptance of editors in DMOZ .. My question came from seeing some of the sections DMOZ has not been updated since a long time over a year. Example : http://www.dmoz.org/World/Arabic/%D8%AA%D8%B1%D9%81%D9%8A%D9%87/%D9%85%D8%AC%D9%85%D9%88%D8%B9%D8%A7%D8%AA/ this section not updated since more than 1 year , why ? and where are the editors ? Hello, I have applied to become an editor for a general category and was being denied i think for posting sites that are related to me. I dont have a problem with that. Hello everyone. On the 29th of April, I received an e-mail from dmoz.org stating that my application had been approved; however, I seem to have forgotten my password (the editor's name is faer). Whenever I go to http://beta.dmoz.org/public/forgetpass/ , I am being asked for a password - one which I am unaware of. Whenever going to http://www.dmoz.org/cgi-bin/forgot.cgi , I get this error message: "No such editor ODP editor 'faer' is not known" Could you please look into this? Thanks, Adam F.

Hi, Please firstly accept my apologies for posting here, unfortunately the ODP website is reporting issues for me in trying to submit a re-instatement request. I have had a number of issues recently with moving home and as such have only now been able to get a finalised account set-up (Virgin and BT have spent 3 months in my new home arguing over a line move) which explains my lack of activity in recent periods, unfortunately my work does not allow certain traffic through their web filters which has also prevented me from logging into my account. Hi there I wonder if anyone is able to help? I have been trying to volunteer to edit a category in Dmoz for quite some time now. Everytime I have visited the site I have received one of two responses: 1) Bad Gateway 2) Proxy Error The CGI scripts on Dmoz all seem to be broken? Hi - First off, let me say that I appreciate everything you guys do to make DMOZ such a great directory. I've tried my best not to bother you out of respect for your time but at this point I'm not sure where else to go.
