I wanted to suggest an updated description for <URL deleted> The current description is: One of Hawaii's oldest monthly magazines. Website primarily offers subscription information. I'd suggest to change to: One of Hawaii's oldest monthly magazine. Website offers current and past articles and features covered in the magazine and new blogs and web-only content. Archived issues date back to 2004. If an editor could take a look and see if the new description fits a little better. Subscription information is on there, but all of the content in the magazine is available on the site for free. Thanks!

My company purchased its URL from someone else a year ago, and twice I have submitted requests to have the details for the URL updated, but both times no changes were put through. The website is <url removed> My last request was submitted July 5th, 2010 (and the first was several months before that). Can someone please tell me what the issue is that is preventing the updates from being put through? Thanks!

I've have tried my best to get our website listed into DMOZ for well over a year now. The category describes exactly what we do without a shadow of a doubt. I have left gaps between submissions of at least 2 months and in the first case over 6 months. The website ... has been submitted to Computers:Software:Bar Code. After the last attempt i noticed the option to apply as an editor was available. As I know a great deal about this subject I was hoping to make my knowledge available to the DMOZ project and help the current editors who are obviously struggling with all the submissions. Please check this directory listing Regional: Asia: Philippines: Provinces: Benguet: Baguio City Of the 10 sites listed, 4 are owned by the same person, Lisa Araneta: Atenara House Baguio Insider Baguio Table Tennis League Go Baguio! Is Lisa Araneta an editor in this section? Isn't it a little biased to have 40% of the directory listing to belong to only one person? After asking around, a couple of other Baguio sites have not been accepted into the directory even after a year of application, and yet Lisa Araneta's sites are accepted? Will somebody look into this, please, as the current directory for Baguio City is rather stale and grossly biased.

I have spent the last two or three hours reading over threads in most catagories, and to my amazement, have found something which I am guilty of being repeated over and over again. The same questions are being asked loads of times a day, soliciting the same responses. I asked some of these questions and I thought that the Moderators were somewhat rude in their responses. I have always been confused about what is considered spam on dmoz. For instance, I have noticed that many large celebrity resource sites are listed under every individual celebrity for a celebrities particular page on their website. I am under the impression that if your website has different pages for different celebrities (or anything for that matter) that you can submit that particular page to the specific catagory that it fits. So, it would not be spam for a large website to be listed under multiple catagories if that site has specific pages that fit into specific catagories and they submit the individual links to those specific pages? Good Morning, I reported an Abuse report 5 weeks ago and nobody has responded to my request. I tried again this morning and my Report was not accepted, I just get a "oops, an error occurred. - Go back message... Someone has illegally updated my listing with some irrelevant crap and I notified dmoz 5 weeks ago and nothing has been done. Google is now using the irrelevant crap in my Search Engine Listing and my online presence of 8 years is vanishing. I sent an email to staff@dmoz.org though it gets returned with a User unknown message.
