I apologize but I misunderstood your suubmission guidelines and submitted my site too many times. I received false information from a non-ODP source that I could resubmit once a month if my site didn't appear. I certainly did not mean to break the rules. Also, we are not the original owners of the URL so we would also like to know if it was banned prior to 2 years ago. My site is http://www.used-robots.com. Thank you again and sorry for my confusion.

I tried to apply for an editor position, it never worked for me. I tried to submit my website and waited years and my web never been listed. I saw poor websites listed and not mine.. but that's beside the point. I read the same things over and over, you guys think you are GOD and we need to wait for your mercy aka approval or not, waiting for years.. a complete joke. Now the only thing i like about dmoz.org is: I'm young and all the staff members/ most of them are old farts. I can't wait for you to die (it will be a def soon for me). so they can be repalced with a younger crowd, more professional, don't need to use a magnifier to find our submissions, faster and not a…

My network of sites were once listed in DMOZ, and have since been removed. The reason I was given is that they are a network of sites (I operate local job boards in 24 cities). Our business model is very similar to craigslist, computerwork, and computerjobs (among others). These three networks seem to still have the majority of their sites listed. I use craigslist, and I think it's one of the best resources on the web, but if my site is being delisted due to its regional structure, it only seems fitting (and legal) to enforce the same guidelines toward our competitors. I suggest either delisting all sites with this structure, or better yet, abandoning this rule…

I'm having real trouble with (no) responses from the editors at dmoz. One of the websites that I manage (a large news-portal) has a very old and incorrect description. I've sent a request for update a few months ago, but there isn't any editor listed for the category in question (Icelandic media/ news portals) and the description hasn't been updated. Now my application for an editor position has not been answered for a few weeks, previous application for editor did not get processed due to a technicality (I didn't list the sites I manage into the correct form field). I'm afraid to re-enter any applications for editor or a revised description of this site, as that…

Do we use http://report-abuse.dmoz.org/ to report specific websites in a category? The form seems to angled at reporting editors rather than the listings. Thanks

Hello, I'm new here. I have a problem with the description. In my case I Just can't use the NOODP tag, because the registered URL and description at the directory is a redirect: [urls REMOVED] [urls REMOVED] is the registered URL at DMOZ. I sent the resubmission form two times to fix it, but I've had no return. This is harming the relation between my agency and the client :-( Can someone Help me? Thanks
