Is it OK to list a site which uses any kind of unfair techniques for improving it's rankings in search engines? I am talking about customarmoring.com which uses hidden links and hidden text at the bottom of it's pages. I cannot determine if http://dmoz.org.il/ is an official site or not. If it is, then you have a problem with links being added by someone (bottom of each page) to what I assume is their own site I appreciate there are a number of rogue copies that have nothing to do with DMOZ. I have no idea if this is the real thing or not If it is not official, how many official copies are there?

Our website title of which is “<title>” URL <URL> which is listed under <category> as follows (<ODP listing>) This title is not correct, the title of our website is “<title>" and because <keyword> is missing from the title on this page it is having an effect on our business, as <keyword> is a prime keyword for our business, is it possible for someone to add <keyword> to our title on the above DMOZ page. The followings four sites are all listed in this category: http://dmoz.org/Shopping/Jewelry/Charms/ http://www.i-charms.com http://www.yourcharms.com http://www.shoppingcharms.com http://www.ladycharms.com Aside from changing the name and layout (slightly), the sites are identical. The address, shipping info, company info, etc.. are all the same. The company has simply created several duplicate store fronts and managed to get them all listed. Oh, and you'll notice how they change the last 1 or 2 digits of the phone number on each website to keep up the appearance that they are 'different' sites. Enter a search for thatsmyhome.com (http://search.dmoz.org/cgi-bin/search?search=thatsmyhome.com) and you will find 20 listings for this domain. The listings don't point to a domain/subdomain or a folder, but to individual pages that cover one particular recipe.

A few days ago i was looking through a catagory and was suprised to find a number sites which were either dead, or haven't been udpated in months. I used the abuse submission form to report the issue. Today using the ID, i checked the status of the report an was suprised to see that the issus is discribed as "resolved." But i don't see any changes to the catagory.... The catagory is related to a hot topic right now andi find it a bit disapointing to see the catagory so far behind a3a9c1c88eba43676a535d6767e00912

On own request I had removed succesfully an URL: <url removed> from directory: World: Nederlands: Kunst: Schilderkunst: Kunstschilders: Abstract But now for months it still shows on key words a search result: <search query removed> I want it to get removed because the category is simply not corresponding my type of art making/art discipline. I'm simply not an art painter That's why I had to removed it anyway. It's bothering me now for a while so. Several editors I have contacted but they have no solution or are not responding at all. It looks like DMOZ is getting hijacked by spam Editors. This is the only reason why link submissions are getting delayed without any reason. I dont like to report websites or webmasters, but there is something that is bugging me a bit as it is almost criminal in my opinion. There is a dating site called loopylove.com....and another one that is called pocado.com They remind me of each other and I had the feeling it is exactly the same website. However they do not tell you on the terms and conditions, of course...but it is the same company behind them. So when you register on pocado.com, you end up in the same database. I'm not sure if I should list URLs here, so I'll speak generically. A company copied nearly our entire website; their listing was removed from ODP by a meta some years ago, but it appears it's been listed again in Regional. I have ample proof. Could someone point me in the right direction?

Hello editors, I tried unsuccessfully to become an editor for the hyperhidrosis section on DMOZ, but it proved futile and I have essentially given up barring some suitable link/description/title combination I can submit with any confidence. A little bit of confusion between these two categories. To my poor, untrained eye, it seems as though they both do the same thing, upon reviewing the listed sites.
