Ian Gower has over 35 years practical experience in the following areas: pesticides application, health and safety consultancy, turfculture and greenkeeping, arboriculture, tree and shrub production, tree inspections, tropical horticulture, parks supervision, training centre management and NVQ assessment and verification.<br />

Although mainly based in the south-east of England operating from my base in Kent, I work with a network of trainers and consultants serving the whole of the United Kingdom and into Europe. In the summer of 2009 Ian Gower spent two weeks pesticides training on the island of St Helena, in the middle of the South Atlantic Ocean! In early 2010 I was back in the South Atlantic, this time training on Ascension Island.
