Well, pretty much anywhere would do! Far and away your best bet would be to select a locality in need of work, or one with which you are familiar, and apply there. Don't choose a large category, just start with a small locality or topical section and off you go. Speaking very broadly, southern Italy could do with editors pretty much everywhere.
