1. Yes, your site is still waiting for review. I wouldn't submit to inflatables, because you do more than just inflatables. Therefore, your site would be more appropriate for the more general "Rides" category, where it currently is waiting, not for the more specific "Inflatables" one.
2. Re: status : http://www.discountedwheelwarehouse.c OK, first of all, modern Netscape (e.g. Netscape 7.x) is Mozilla, with a little Netscape advertising stuck in. Making a website compatible with Netscape should almost always make it compatible with Mozilla. But, more to the point, what Mozilla are you guys using? The shopping cart works fine in Mozilla 1.3 (Unix). If it works in Netscape, it most likely works in Mozilla 1.0 (I think 1.0 and 1.0.1 are the latest versions that Netscape has used -- but someone please correct me if I'm wrong).
3. I'm afraid there has been no change. As previously mentioned, there are a lot of sites in the other letter and number categories, so that area is pretty backlogged, even though there are only a few in the "I" category.
4. Re: Status: http://www.corpseclothing.com/ Still waiting, still with several dozen others, I'm afraid. Sorry we don't have better news.
5. Re: Status of http://www.asmarteru.com/ I'm afraid it's still waiting, still in about the same size group of sites.
6. Again, please try looking at Spanish Fork (look at the Business and Economy subcat); you might like what you see... Your site is still awaiting review in the Computers category, though, along with more than 100 others.
7. Ummm. Ryan, did you actually look in the Spanish Fork categories before asking us to go look for you? Both your sites (this one and http://www.ryans-world.com from the other thread) were listed since 1 May 2003. Your site is still waiting in the Reference category, along with over 150 others.
8. Still awaiting review in the Home/ branch category, I'm afraid. I see that it has been listed since 1 May 2003 in http://dmoz.org/Regional/North_America/United_States/Utah/Localities/S/Spanish_Fork/Society_and_Culture though.
9. Your submission of 19 April 2003 is awaiting review with fewer than a dozen sites. Sorry, there's no way to give a timeframe for review. Editors are volunteers, and they edit when they have the time.
10. Re: http://www.cybervox.net I'm afraid that is a very popular category, and your update request is awaiting review with hundreds of other sites. I suggest patience. I would also wait several months before checking back.
11. Sorry we missed the previous request -- sometimes posts slip down the page too quickly. Your site was determined to be more appropriate for http://dmoz.org/Regional/Europe/United_Kingdom/Business_and_Economy/Event_Planning/Entertainment where it has been listed since 28 April 2003.
12. The forum guidelines request that you wait at least a month before requesting a status update. Please come back after June 6th. Thanks.
13. Still waiting, I'm afraid, with just a few other sites.
14. >>What do I do to achieve the same results?<< Wait. And while you're waiting, you could read some of the many other threads in this forum and in several of the other forums on this site that talk about the delays in inclusion in the search due to the time it takes to generate a new RDF.
15. Your site is listed in the Regional/ category. One reason for the delay there was that information about your brick-and-mortar location was not easily found. If you want to make sure the listing is not mistakenly removed by someone who doesn't notice the information and assumes that your business is strictly online, you might want to make it more apparent (e.g. on your aboutco page) that you have an actual store. Also, speaking as a potential customer, and not as an editor, I think it makes sense. If the information is more prominent, people may be more likely to visit you if they're in the area, and online shoppers are often more willing to purchase from established businesses. But that's your choice, so feel free to ignore my thoughts on the matter, as I'm no expert in your business.
16. [Edited] Now alucard is beating me out. I've got to learn to type faster. [/Edited]
17. Re: status http://www.wi-fitechnology.com/ We have no control over when any downstream users (including Google) update their databases. It's best to ask them if you have questions about their service. But, yes, I can safely say that a newly listed site appears in a downstream user's listing only after they update their database from the ODP... You didn't ask for a status update, but since it has been a month, I checked for you anyhow: your site is still waiting to be sent to the correct category. Once there, it will eventually be reviewed. The reviewer will decide whether to list it. If it is listed, it will take additional time for the downstream users (varies from user to user) to update their databases.
18. Well, I can pretty much guarantee that you are indeed one month closer to being reviewed, as your site will eventually be reviewed, and one month has passed. Unfortunately, your site is still waiting with over 250 others, so it may take a while. Please feel free to check again after at least one month, but also please realize that with such a large backlog, it may take quite some time to be reviewed.
19. It appears that your re-submission did not go through. I suggest trying again.
20. I'm afraid your site is still waiting with over 250 others. This may take a while. Is there any reason why you didn't also want to submit to an appropriate Regional category as I suggested above? The wait is likely much shorter, and it would not interfere with being listed in the Shopping category.
21. I'm sorry to say that it's still waiting with fewer than 25 other sites (but, remember, that's just for the letter "Y", and there are a lot of other letters and numbers...).
22. >>I did look at your site, and my view is a little different from lachenm's.<< Well, now, to be fair, the Varied_Merchandise subcat didn't exist when I wrote that... For what it's worth, I'd agree that Varied_Merchandise looks like the best place for this site.
23. I'm afraid it's still waiting, still with a large number of other sites. Sorry the news isn't better, but feel free to check back again after at least a month.
24. I'm afraid it's still waiting for review, still with a similar number of other sites.
25. Well, it seems that your area has been undergoing some reorganization. That category no longer exists -- it appears to have been renamed http://dmoz.org/Computers/Internet/Searching/Directories/Volunteer-Edited/ , and somewhat changed in scope. As a result of the changes, your site is now waiting for review in the main http://dmoz.org/Computers/Internet/Searching/Directories/ category. Sorry I don't have better news.
