2. hello, any status on the change of description in this cat? it's been about 3 months since initial post, and now the new rdf dump is out there, was hoping this could possibly be updated to the same description of our regional description before the next rdf is put out... will i have another 3 month wait or longer?? thanks, dave
3. Hi! Just checking the status to see if it's moved up in the queue or if our friend aspdaddy has been active in the past few weeks etc.. quite important for our listing to reflect the same desc as our regional listing... just wondering.. thanks guys! Dave

5. Thanks John. I know i should request through the update url form though a site added yesterday has a missing letter. Since you editored so quickly for roadbend i hope you can do the same here too, Thanks. http://dmoz.org/Regional/Oceania/Australia/Western_Australia/Localities/A/Alexander_Heights/ Perth Pyrotechnics the description is missing the letter p
6. Hello myself and Webfirm would like to thank the editors at Dmoz for doing a great job as of late. I notice there's alot of complaining but not alot of appreciation mentioned. I mean Hey? A 1 day turn around yesterday for sites submitted is just sensational. I notice you guys have just been getting faster and faster. I hope i make your job of editing a easy one also. Thanks to all the editors who have been in Australia->Western Australia particulary lately. Do you guy's come on this board? Thanks again! Appreciated alot, I'm just Happy as can be at this moment with you guy's, You's make my job as a SEO alot easier to do in certain aspects.
7. Hello I was wondering what the status would be on the change of description i suggested to fix the spelling errors on the above site located in: http://dmoz.org/Regional/Oceania/Australia/Western_Australia/Localities/W/Welshpool/ Is their a reasonably long queue? I notice editors in WA have been really fast lately, Keep up the great job it's appreciated and i will keep on submitting our local clientele
8. Hello I generally don't like to reveal my identity alot when on message boards I do the SEO work for our web design clients
9. Hi Yeah i guess you can look at it at that angle.. But when you have over 500 clients to handle their work for it really does get a bit daunting checking to see if their in dmoz.. I mean i personally now label all the cats i submit too in the regional place i submit too but if there was something like a new button then you would know exactly where to go straight away to see if the site was added in that locality.. I just think it would be a good feature of knowing when a cat was last editored too. You'll be happy to know i am one of those SEO's who label their title and description reasonably well and submit to my local regional category properly.. probably why they get in fairly quickly, now days. I just feel it would be a good feature to see at Dmoz.
10. Hello, I was wondering if you's think Dmoz will benefit from a "New" button in categories when new sites are added something like over at Yahoo! I say this because well.. mostly SEO's and Webmasters use the directory to add their sites.. and i really do want to keep track of when sites are getting added.. If there was a "New" button in the cat and topic i submit too means i won't have to browse through all the localties i submit too.. and i can just go check where the New sites have been added.. Whats your opinions on this? You think this would be a good new feature?
11. Hey all, We have recently had our site get a change of description successfully at http://dmoz.org/Regional/Oceania/Australia/Western_Australia/Localities/P/Perth/Business_and_Economy/Internet/Web_Design_and_Development/ Thank you very much for that, Our core services are now outlined but i was wondering if i also submitted a change of description at: http://dmoz.org/Computers/Internet/Web_Design_and_Development/Designers/Full_Service/W/ and if i did is it still in the queue or i might of missed it? Thanks!
12. Hi, One of our valued clients was submitted on Thursday 8th August 2002 to i'm pretty sure the category below.. http://dmoz.org/Business/Arts_and_Entertainment/Media_Production/Television/Commercials/ or http://dmoz.org/Arts/Television/Commercials/ or http://dmoz.org/Regional/Oceania/Australia/Western_Australia/News_and_Media/Television/ Could i get a status on this site? I really should start labelling the cat's i submit sites too
13. Hello! Thanks for that. Is there any reason why they are being moved out to localties? I am just wondering
14. Hello, This site was submitted back in Mid July. Would have been to this cat: http://dmoz.org/Regional/Oceania/Australia/Western_Australia/Transportation/ Was wondering the status on this site or should i wait a bit longer before resubmitting if the site didnt go through for some unknown reason? Regards, David Hobbs Webfirm
15. Hello, I have a website targetting specific users from specific countries us, canada, uk & australia. For branding purposes of our domain name we have created subdomains eg; uk.ourdomain.com, ca.ourdomain.com with pricing and currency, billing etc done for each specific country under there countries sub-domain. The thing is we are physically located in Australia, And the services we offer web hosting, design, seo etc most consumers come from those specific countries i mentioned. I was wondering if we will run into any problems if we submit each individual subdomain to the regional-> countries best-fit category. Will editors have a problem with the fact we are located in AU but are specifically submitting to each country we are targetting. Please note most of the content will be the same as the .com(us version) probably just change of colours to reflect the countries colours eg; canada will have a bit of red and white and uk a bit of green in their, etc. But the pricing, currency etc will be in that countries currency. Will there be any for-seen problems trying to get each domain indexed by a editor at Dmoz. Or am i on the right track if i do it this way. Thanks, Dave
