  1. The presence of an ODP referrer tag really means nothing in terms of the status of your site (i.e. it doesn't mean you've been rejected or ignored). In your particular case, though, the site has been moved from the Shopping category to which you submitted to await review in Home/Cooking/Condiments/Salsa (you don't actually sell anything on the site so you won't get listed in Shopping).
  2. I've only noticed this happening today. Whenever the General ODP Issues forum shows new posts and I go into the forum to look at the new posts, all of the posts in the thread are marked read. Kind of weird.
  3. Your original listing (with the old URL) was updated per your request back in mid October but, since you also asked to be moved to the Footwear Accessories category in the same update request, the editor reviewing the request had to send the site to unreviewed in the new category. That's why you disappeared from the original category. Google hasn't updated their directory yet which is why your site is still showing up with the old URL in the old category there.
  4. Re: Site Submission Status No, we can't. It could be a couple of days or it could be many months. There are over 100 sites waiting in that category. You can come back to this thread in a month and check the status again.
  5. Your links all redirect to affiliate links (for affiliate seekways) at clickbank. You will not be listed. [see other seekways thread here]
  6. You just inquired about the status of that submission a week ago. Please leave at least a month between status checks and please reuse the original thread -- don't start a new one.
  7. ...which isn't very long at all. Editors rarely contact submitters to tell them the status of the submission.
  8. What category did you submit it to?
  9. You're in the queue there but I personally wouldn't list you there as you don't offer a directory of anything, let alone of property. I do see some fields to fill in at the top of the screen that perhaps gives people access to lists of property but nowhere do you offer any information about who you are or why you want that information -- that makes you look like nothing more than a lead generator.
  10. As one single product storefront among many for Spaciba.com, it won't be listed by itself (none of them will). Instead, spaciba.com is waiting to be reviewed in http://dmoz.org/Shopping/General_Merchandise/S .
  11. The specific guideline that would apply here is this one: "Sites that exist to drive traffic to Adult sites should be listed in Adult. Sites that contain sexually explicit banner and sidebar ads should also be listed in Adult. However, sites that do not exist to drive traffic to adult sites, but may include non-sexually explicit points to adult sites, may be listed outside the Adult category. When you can't decide if an otherwise non-adult site containing adult links and banners should be listed in Adult or not, ask the question: "would this organization take the time and effort to make this web site available if they were not profiting off of the adult links and banners" -- if the answer is "no" then the site is a likely candidate for the Adult category. "
  12. You'll notice that uzs980 said in his note above "New submissions are waiting for review in that category again." There is no need to resubmit -- you're still in the queue from your previous submissions.
  13. It's still there waiting in a queue about the same size as before.
  14. I have to point out that even if you were able to submit instantly the first time you tried, it could still take months to get reviewed and listed.
  15. Your update request has been accepted. It probably won't help the fact that the artist's name comes up in searches for a while yet -- depends on when the search engine in question updates their information.
  16. You're in the queue along with under 100 other sites. By resubmitting it today, you've moved yourself to the bottom of the queue if an editor sorts the queue by date. Of course, if you're the same xparrot who applied to edit that same category, well... <img src="/images/icons/wink.gif" alt="" />
  17. What error is it that you're getting? The one that says it has redirected your submission to the misplaced folder or a time out error? Both won't be listed. Since roadwarrior.com is a subsite of etouch.com.au, only etouch.com.au should be submitted. Note: You'd also qualify for a listing in North Sydney. [wow, that was weird. This forum obviously doesn't like .com.au URLs in a quote -- it added all kinds of broken HTML code to it.]
  18. Rejected and not likely to be listed in the future as you offer no unique content (just a directory of sites and lots and lots of affiliate links).
  19. Actually, your submission to the Texas Dentistry category was moved to The Colony which is where you should be (and where you've been listed for about a week).
  20. Please don't start a new thread to ask about a site you've already asked about here -- please reuse the original thread. Also, it's been less than 2 weeks since you last asked about the site's status. Please wait at least a month between status update requests and reuse the thread noted above.
  21. Re: Resubmitted http://5url.com/dhtml.html Without knowing the categories you submitted to, I can only say that you managed to get into the Kids and Teens category you submitted to but you've been rejected from (and will likely continue to be rejected from) several main directory categories that you submitted to.
  22. The site requires Flash so that may have something to do with it.
  23. Re: www.vitalcomms.com any info on submissi Unfortunately, since the site hasn't been touched by an editor, we have no way of giving you more information without knowing where you submitted. Going by your previous comments, I would have thought you submitted here but you're not waiting in that category. I would presume that wherever you submitted it, it is still waiting in that queue.
  24. Re: Site Ignored since July '02 Please Advise Sorry. That was my bad for replying via PM. Consider my wrist suitably slapped. <img src="/images/icons/smile.gif" alt="" />
  25. You're welcome. <img src="/images/icons/smile.gif" alt="" />
