Hotels in Rajasthan even calls them an affiliation on their site. Since Rajasthan Travel Guide links to www.hotelsinrajasthan.com on its main page (in a manner consistent with sub site content, not unaffiliated content) and is already listed, we wouldn't list the sub site separately.

You don't actually have woodworking software, you just offer links to other sites that do. And several of the articles are just links to other sites. What little actual content there is seems to be there to supplement the 95% of the site that is just affiliate shopping links. A handful of actual products, a handful of articles, and little used message board/classifieds really don't outweigh the affiliate stuff. Sorry.

All of your product ordering links take people to rockler.com. Rockler is already listed in the same category you submitted to therefore you do not offer unique content and won't be listed. See the ODP guidelines on affiliates.

What category did you submit it to? In clickable form, if you don't mind. I don't see that your site has been touched at all so wherever you submitted it, it is either still waiting there or didn't get submitted at all.

That would be correct. Mind you, you could submit either one to the Palm Beach category in Regional as well as whatever Shopping category you submitted it to.

Dmoz is a directory. It doesn't check for updates to your site the way a search engine spider would. Now that you're listed, there's no need for you to submit again. If the nature of your business changes at a future date, then by all means submit an update request but otherwise you're good to go.

In cases like that, your site is rerouted to a main holding area to be manually forwarded to the correct unreviewed queue. The message should have said (in addition to what you noted) that it was doing that. You were listed in http://dmoz.org/Regional/Europe/United_Kingdom/Business_and_Economy/Shopping/Gifts/Personalised/Mugs at the end of November.

I don't see a Donate button happening. Can you really imagine Time Warner/AOL/Netscape being willing to be seen begging for handouts? I don't think so. I don't personally think that changing the editors from volunteers to paid (or even just introducing paid editors to the existing volunteers) would have an appreciable effect on what are perceived as flaws in the ODP.

Please submit the true main pages for your sites. I don't see doors2go in the Doors and Windows or main Building and Construction categories and there's no sign that it's been touched by an editor. Did you get an error message when you submitted or could it have been another category that you submitted to? Note: it doesn't belong in the main Building and Construction cat and shouldn't have been submitted there. You've noted which browsers but not which platforms. I'm using a Macintosh and I can't view the animations...so for me, your site is essentially empty (according to http://www.visviva.com/, they are still working on their non-Windows plugins). Just thought you might like to put a note in the browser/CPU recommendations that states that the animations are only viewable in Windows.

I don't see your site in the queue there and it hasn't been touched by an editor. Are you sure that's where you submitted it? Or did you get an error message when you submitted?

You're in the queue. Note: I take it the animations in the gallery are strictly for Windows platforms? You should probably make a note of that -- it'll save problems with editors/surfers on non-Windows platforms thinking that there is nothing on the site.
