The site is sitting in unreviewed in http://dmoz.org/Shopping/Pets/Cats (the Business category is for manufacturers of cat products) in a medium sized queue (<100 sites).
-
You might want to mention the category you applied for and the editor name you applied under. Did you get the confirmation email?

Send me feedback through my DMOZ profile page (click on my name at the bottom of this message to go there) and I'll give you some ideas.

Funny thing is that I happen to be going through Perth suburb categories right now and probably would have come across this naturally in the next couple of days.

Do not apply for an new editor ID. If you were an editor, your only recourse is the reinstatement form. If you get no response from that after a reasonable time, you're request may have been denied. Could depend on whether you timed out or were removed. [edited to add: I don't see where there's been an editor with the name kalisti23. You sure you weren't just plain old kalisti?]

You mean it wasn't about yrotechnics? Darn!!! Fixed.

Re: status of http://www.abcglobalshopper.com/equi The key part of what you quoted is this: Therefore, since your classified listings are for American horses/services, your site belongs in the US subcategory.
-
It's been less than two months -- that's not long at all.

Are you just using Rodopi (actually, I guess it's probably A Plus that you're using) for your web hosting? Not for any payment processing or shopping cart or anything like that? If so, there are a lot of really good, low priced web hosts ($10 or less/month) around who don't put banners like that on web pages.
-
The correct link would be this one (the URL you posted and the description ran together). You were all by your lonesome there but now you're listed (couldn't justify not emptying the queue when there was only one site in it). Note: The public pages are still lagging behind so you won't see it there yourself but, trust me, it's there.

Perhaps the advice they meant to give you was for you to contact editors further up the tree if your site doesn't get listed in a timely manner, not to resubmit the site to a category further up the tree.

>>I'm guessing that it's some sort of ad snooper. <add> On second thoughts, maybe it's something to do with the payment system. << It looks like it's the code for the ad banner at the top of the pages.

Re: http://www.corseresa.org and http://www.orefi. http://www.orefi.fr/ is sitting in unreviewed in http://dmoz.org/World/Fran%e7ais/Commerce_et_%e9conomie/Produits_et_services_industriels/Machinerie_et_outillage/Outillage/ along with 35 other sites.

uzs980, that's a pretty standard request for cats with alphabars.

Hmmm, it didn't on my machine, dfy.

Don't worry. Neither language submission would be rejected because of the presence of the other. People are encouraged to submit multi-language sites to the appropriate World category in addition to (if one of the languages is English) the main directory. The fact that the category has been updated recently doesn't mean anyone has actually even looked at your site, let alone rejected it. Editors pop in and out of categories all the time to correct spelling mistakes or the like.

Re: Listing still has old URL, tried updating...he No, I wasn't the one who changed the description or title. But it was changed quite recently by someone who would have viewed the site so I'm not sure you'll get the change you want. To be frank, the fact that you need certain keywords to show up in a search doesn't mean you're entitled to have them or that you'll ever get them in your description. If graphic and web site design are a big part of what you do now, perhaps you're listed in the wrong category. [edited to add: well, no, you appear to be in the right category. As far as I can see, the description already on your listing is entirely accurate. The site really just contains a portfolio of your work. Contrary to cjtripnewton's advice, I wouldn't recommend you submit a update request.]
-
>>Everybody is allowed to submit at least twice, once to the Regional tree, and once to somewhere else. Um, not techincally true. Some sites have no Regional aspect and so would only get listed outside of Regional.
-
2 dozen sites is nothing. There are categories with hundreds of sites waiting. And just because the category says it has no editor doesn't mean that others editors aren't in there working. Dozens of editors would have access to that category.

Re: Listing still has old URL, tried updating...he I've corrected the URL but your title and description are fine as they are. Note: I don't see any update request in the queue for it and I don't see any indication that one was ever touched (i.e. deleted or acted upon).
-
Generally speaking, if you see that an editor has gone and reviewed a site that someone was inquiring about here, they've also gone in and cleaned up the whole queue for that category (or tried to, so as to not be playing favorites). 400 is a really big queue. RE: submitting to Regional -- I would just go ahead and write a new submission to the Boynton Beach, FL, category.
-
What did your rejection email say? It usually gives you an idea of why they might have rejected you. Did you fill out the application completely, including 2 or 3 well-titled and described sites that aren't already listed?
-
Re: www.icreditcentral.com Keep waiting. Don't try to submit to another category -- all that will happen is that the editor in the other category would send the site over to the right one and you'd still be waiting.

The clinic sites have their own domains now so those URLs have been corrected. Two were either 404 or didn't have any related information on them. I listed the main URL in the main Infertility cat and removed the deeplinks under Infertility. The links in other cats (PCOS and Science) were left as is. Thanks for passing that on. [edited to add: dstanovic, old crone was correct. There are/were only 11; the other 2 were completely unrelated.]
