Please note that you should have reused your original thread rather than starting a new one for it. It also speeds up replies if you give us a clickable link (in the form http://dmoz.org/... ) to the category you submitted the site to.
-
That's why they're called "subsites". Not likely since that would be replacing 1 listing (well, one topical and one regional) with 4+, expecially when all four are easily accessed from the one existing listing and the one existing listing is the company's actual name.
-
Your question was answered in your other thread. Please don't start multiple threads for the same site.
-
Having looked at both, no, you can't. Not unless you want to break away from the company completely and start your own company. No. http://www.gemstonejewelrycatalog.com/ , http://www.jewelrysupplystore.com/ , http://www.jewelrywebdesigners.com/ , and http://www.silvernecklaces.com/ are all subsites of International Gold Chain and thus not listable on their own.

Re: Site was listed a few weeks ago, now it's gone I don't know where you were looking but your site is still listed in http://dmoz.org/Computers/Internet/Web_Design_and_Development/Authoring/Webmaster_Resources/Affiliate_Programs/Per_Sale_Programs (it was never listed in the Business category). Affiliate programs categories are being reorganized which is why some categories may be smaller than before and others much larger. [FYI kokopeli: iinfosearch isn't listed anywhere in the ODP right now]

Please don't start a new thread to ask about a site you've already asked about. Please reuse your original thread. Thanks.

You're there in the queue awaiting review along with over 100 other sites.
-
Post a request in the Site Submission Status forum here (read the Forum Guidelines thread first). Wait at least a month after you submitted the site to post your query, though.
-
It looks like you only submitted on March 24 -- we generally ask that you wait a month after submitting to ask about your site here. However, since you've asked, you're in the smallish queue there waiting to be reviewed. You can come back in a month or more to ask again (reuse this thread).
-
FTR the ODP is within its rights to change descriptions without the submitters knowledge and you agree to that by submitting your site. By "standard procedure", do you mean that you submitted an update request describing what you just said here (about it saying that you include a product that you don't)? If that isn't what you meant, I'd recommend you do that now. If that is what you meant, post the URL and the category it's in here and we can check and see what the status of your update request is.

Re: http://www.cellular-phone-accessories-center.c Actually, if you look at the date of your last request, it's been a month exactly. You're still waiting in the queue with a handful of others.

Re: http://www.learmedia.ca See original discussion in original thread.

Companies that offer web design, SEO, and hosting would belong under http://dmoz.org/Computers/Internet/Web_Design_and_Development/Designers (under the Basic Service or Full Service alphabars).
-
In response to your posting in the new thread you started, we ask all submitters to please wait at least a month between status requests. It's only been 3 weeks.
-
No one here has told you that any of your submissions have been touched prior to the one that was deleted in late March so I'm not sure where you're getting the idea that your submissions have "disappeared...time and time again". Now, your submissions initially went into a holding pen because you obviously got the "your IP addres could not be determined" error message each time but they were ultimately moved to the right queues.

I don't think you'll get that deeplink listed, to be honest with you. Why didn't you just submit the main prndoctors.com site somewhere instead? I can see that it isn't listed yet anywhere. -
Site Status of http://www.chandlerscatalog.com
motsa replied to lschultz's topic in Site Submission Status
To answer your second question, no, don't submit sections of your site elsewhere. Looking at your site, I can't see any part of it that would warrant listing anywhere but where you're already waiting. -
I'm having trouble with my dialup connection dropping so I'm not going to go look at the two book sites you mentioned but, no, I wouldn't expect that book sellers/exporters would be entitled to multiple listings for various sections of their catalogue -- we don't list Amazon, Barnes and Noble, or Chapters under every subsection of their book catalogue so why would we for these ones?

[This post is targeted more at your previous post, not your latest one] I don't know if the example you gave is a real example or just a hypothetical one but I could envision such a site getting two topical listings as well as one Regional -- one Topical listing in a miscellaneous computer training category (not one for each type of training offered) and one in Web_Design_and_Development/Designers/Full_Service (which covers your examples of "website design & development, ecommerce, technical writing & content management, search engine optimization search engine submission").

Multiple Sites for Blue & Pink Diamonds
motsa replied to Lawrence_Chard's topic in General Curlie Issues
Generally speaking, no, size doesn't matter. Let's say I had a web site about widgets that contained (among other things) 150 pages of information about shiny widgets, a 400-page history of polka-dot widgets, a 4,346 item catalog of widgets for sale, and a never-before-seen single page but extensive biography of a lesser-known Russian composer -- the biography would likely be deeplinked to since it offers unique content not found elsewhere, even it is only 1 page. On the other, the enormous number of pages devoted to various aspects of widgets are still just about widgets and, most likely, only the main page would be listed. -
You're definitely confusing us with About.com. Given that the URL you're asking about as well as the one you're asking about in the Submissions forum are in fact just subsites of http://www.haleyproductions.com/ (which is already listed appropriately in http://dmoz.org/Games/Party_Games and San Rafael), you will not likely get any of the subsites listed as well.
-
My guess would be somewhere like http://dmoz.org/Shopping/Toys_and_Games/Games/Party_Games/
