Actually, it hasn't been listed since October (5 months ago). From what I can see of the site, you're not really a news site. I mean, you've got tutorials and book, software, and hardware reviews...but I don't really see much that I would classify as "news". I'd recommend you look for a more appropriate place under Computers and resubmit there.

Please give a clickable link to the exact category you submitted the site to. You wouldn't have been able to submit the site to the top level Shopping category so you must have submitted to one of the subcategories -- we need to know the exact subcategory (in clickable format like http://dmoz.org/Shopping ).

Re: status on http://www.wi-fitechnology.com/ Staff and senior editors know that it is impossible for editors to give submitters specific timeframes for listing...and you'll notice than most of the editors telling you that here are "senior editors". Any push to get specific timeframes would likely result in something more like "We guarantee we'll review your site within the next 3 years." than "We guarantee we'll review your site within the next month.".

Re: What to submit http://www.pearson-ranch.com to That's what Marisa was talking about, that rather than your site belonging at the state level where the others, the ones currently listed at the state most likely belong at the county or locality level and that someone will have to move those that need to be moved. It isn't an immediate thing, especially with the server down, but it will be done eventually. In the meantime, I'd submit the site to the county category marisa pointed out once the server is back up.

Please don't use PM to alert an editor to a thread. I know this thread is here. If I'd had time to reply, I would have.

It also means that even if the category has a listed editor, that is no guarantee that the editor in question is active, in general or in that category specifically. So, it's possible to have a shorter review time in a category with no listed editor than in a category with one. In other words, the presence or absence of an editor name on the category is no indication of how long it will take for your site to be reviewed.

I don't think you're quite suited for the category since your site isn't about testing...so you're likely to experience a longer delay when someone figures out where you should be.

I don't see your site waiting there nor do I see any sign that it has been touched by an editor. However, in looking at your site, I can see that you only list 10 hosting companies out of the thousands that exist and all 10 hosts are qksrv affiliate links. Since the remaining content on the site (such as reviews) serves the sole purpose of driving people through those affiliate links, your site is not listable.

The fact that it isn't on a standalone domain means nothing. Absolutely nothing. As I said, you are not a Real Estate directory so you would never be listed in the category you want. Judging the site on the content that is actually visible on it with regards to real estate, you have nothing. I don't doubt that you are a legitimate business offering a service to your customers but we can't see any relevent content on your site to back that up. So, from an ODP perspective you have insufficient unique content to list (content that you may or may not have behind the scenes doesn't count since we can't see it unless we fill out the form).

There's really not much we do for you here in that respect. You're listed in the right category with an appropriate description and that's really all that this forum is here to facilitate. You may want to go to one of the webmaster forums that abound on the Internet (webmasterworld or searchengineforums, for example) and ask about your reporting software difficulties there.
