It's impossible to give an estimated time. Whether or not it has a listed editor makes no difference (though you can see if there is one by looking at the bottom of the category page). It's not heavily edited so I'd expect it to be awhile.
-
The difference was that several of the listings in that category contained the word "Oregon" where yours doesn't. They've been corrected.
-
Best Call turns up twice because it was listed in two different categories with the words "oregon", "health", and "Insurance" in the description (it shouldn't have been in an Oregon category anyway since they are located in California -- that's been corrected). In a category with Oregon in the path, the word "Oregon" shouldn't appear in the descriptions. The ODP search is really meant to turn up relevent categories, not specific sites by keywords. There's nothing you did wrong but you're not likely to ever turn up in the listing for "oregon health insurance" -- I'd concentrate on optimizing the site for results in the various seach engines (this isn't the forum for help on that matter, though).

It helps if you give us a clickable link. Nope, it wasn't Colorado Computers. But you are waiting in http://dmoz.org/Computers/Consultants/Business_Systems/Accounting/North_America along with a handful of other sites. Rather than trying to figure out where in Regional you might have submitted, you might as well just resubmit -- but submit to the locality category where you are physically located (i.e. Englewood). One of my former managers essentially kept his life on his PDA. Never kept a paper trail or backup or anything. A couple of weeks ago, it died -- leaving him high and dry with nothing.
-
You're waiting in the queue as Cadnw.com along with about 50 other sites.
-
I don't see you waiting under Denver Accountants or anywhere under Denver Business and Economy. Without knowing where you submitted, all I can tell you is that the site hasn't been touched by an editor yet so it is either still waiting wherever you submitted it or it never got through.
-
Do not start a new thread for this site. Reuse the original thread. Thanks.
-
No way to tell. There are under 100 sites waiting.
-
Just ignore the other thread. As I noted in that thread, though, it's too soon for you to be asking about this site again. Please leave at least a month between queries.

Very Amazon.com looking, isn't it. You're still in the queue, under the URL www.uln.com since that's where bestprices.com redirects to. Out of curiousity, why do you call the site "Bestprices.com" but have the actual content at uln.com? Why not have bestprices.com be the hosted domain and uln.com be the redirect?
-
You're kidding, right? OK, so there aren't any affiliate links on that exact page but http://www.alfaorg.com/usa/ for example contains nothing but affiliate links to actual long distance providers. I still don't see any listable content.
-
Re: Does this site have any chances to be listed i Affiliate links are affiliate links. Collecting more of them in one place doesn't make the site unique.
-
The fact that you're asking "if" all these deeplinks will be listed tells me you already know the answer: NO. None of the deeplinks to your site will be listed in the ODP.
-
I think I'm safe in saying that none of the deeplinks to http://www.alfaorg.com are listable. Every single section consists of nothing but affiliate links and as such are not listable.
-
Re: Does this site have any chances to be listed i No. As an affiliate of Millenium Medical Group, USAPrescription, e-Scripts, and a slew of other providers, you don't offer unique content and will not be listed. [darnnit! I'm too slow]

Status check for http://www.canadarxconnection.com

Re: Status check for http://www.canadarxconnection Please don't start a new thread for a site you've already asked about. Reuse the original thread. Thanks. Also, it's only been 3 weeks since you last got a status check on it. Please leave at least a month between requests and reuse the original thread. -
Keep in mind that such a golf category would only contain golf sites that cover the entire (or large part of the) county, not individual golf courses (those would be in the localities). So it's likely there aren't too many other eligible links out there.
-
In this case, that would be Kalorama.

Re: http://www.ebargoon.ca Please don't start a new thread for a site you've already asked about. Reuse the original thread. Thanks

OK, I've added a little disclaimer to both of the listings. Thanks for pointing those out.

(a) You submitted a week ago, which is too soon to ask for a status update. (b) If you read the description for that category, you would have seen this: "Only sites that accept submissions from Authors and Developers will be listed here. If your site is not a repository for software, please find the appropriate category to submit your site. " You aren't a repository for software (you just link to download files on other sites) and so wouldn't be listed in that category. © None of that matters since, as a regnow.com affiliate, you're not listable anywhere (see guidelines).
-
Re: How would DMOZ (and/or requestor) deal with th As evidenced by the number of duplicate update submissions I've come across for individual sites over the past few months, no, a second update does not overwrite the first update submitted.

Isn't that funny. When I first looked at the site (going directly to sho.com) I was able to get in to look at it with no problems. However, when I went through the Showtimeonline.com link, I got the "We at Showtime Online express our apologies; however, these pages are intended for access only from within the United States." message. And now I get that message on sho.com as well. I have no idea why they would want to restrict access to their website that way -- it's not like accessing the website would give you access to their cable channel. I'd say that it would be reasonable to put a note on the listing to indicate that content is viewable to US IPs only.

Submission Status - http://www.webpublicitee.com
motsa replied to cqjb's topic in Site Submission Status
Re: Submission Status - http://www.webpublicitee.c I'll be honest and say that I don't think that that deeplink is listable at all. The "facts" in the article on that page are taken almost entirely from a post (or series of posts) by a Google employee at Webmasterworld. Not unique content. -
Actually, it would have been nice if you'd reused your original thread instead of starting a brand new one.
