  1. The Regional submission made it through.
  2. All you can do is continue to be patient. Our editors are volunteers and edit as much as they can, when they can.
  3. Unfortunately, it looks as if your site was down when an editor tried to review it last week. I've added it back to the unreviewed queue, which is about the same size as it was before.
  4. It's still waiting for review.
  5. I just took a quick look at your site - it seems to have a regional focus... Have you considered submitting it to Regional/North_America/United_States/California/Localities/L/Los_Angeles/Arts_and_Entertainment ? (As per our Regional template, the A&E cat encompasses literature sites)
  6. Hi there, Next time please make sure that you provide a clickable link to the category in question - you can do this by going to the DMOZ category, copying the url from the address bar and then using the URL feature enabled on this board. The site is not in the queue of the Chennai category - you may resubmit it there. It had been (inappropriately, it would seem) submitted to Computers/Internet/Consultants, Business/.../Information_Technology , and Computers/.../Perl/Scripts - it's currently waiting for review in Computers/Internet/Web_Design_and_Development/Designers/Basic_Service/B . The queue is relatively small.
  7. Re: What to submit http://www.pearson-ranch.com to >>where other New Mexico guest ranches offering similar services/activities are listed? << Single location accommodations should not be listed at the state level. Sites inappropriately listed at the state level will need to be moved down to more specific categories. Accommodations are not listed twice in Regional.
  8. The site is waiting in a very small queue.
  9. Re: What to submit http://www.pearson-ranch.com to If the ranch is straddling the borders of localities and/or somehow exists outside of a locality it can be bumped up to the county category, which in this case appears to be Catron County.
  10. Re: What to submit http://www.pearson-ranch.com to You should submit the Regional listing to Rio Rancho, New Mexico - not to the state level.
  11. Re: Submission Status - http://www.webpublicitee.c The "correct" link you've just posted is throwing 404 errors. It's completely out of the area I prefer to edit in, so my best advice would be to just re-submit the correct link when you get it working. It will be up to the resident editors to decide if it's in the appropriate category and/or if it has enough unique content to be listed.
  12. Re: Submission Status - http://www.webpublicitee.c You are listed in Placentia . Have a good weekend.
  13. Re: http://www.printwithus.com/ My focus is Regional, not Business, so I can't help you with the Business listing, but I have gone ahead and listed the site in the Los Angeles Metro Printing category (offices in 2 counties within a Metro Area = Metro Area listing). This will not prevent you from being listed in the Business cat. Thank you for being so patient.
  14. It's been listed in World/Español/Países/Argentina/Provincias/Buenos_Aires/Sociedad/Política .
  15. Hello, You submitted it to a broad category instead of drilling down to the most specific subcategory - not a good idea as the broader categories typically have more sites waiting for review. Anyway, I've moved it to down to the unreviewed queue of the more appropriate subcategory for you. Computers/Internet/Web_Design_and_Development/Promotion/Search_Engine_Optimization_Firms/H One of the resident editors will review it there.
  16. AFAIC, this smut has no business being listed in Regional at all.
  17. >We used to only list brick and mortar stores in Regional but it was recently changed so that we now list online stores if they have an address listed. < That is incorrect. The Guidelines haven't changed.
  18. It sounds like your site would fit well in a "Guides and Directories" category - you should submit to the lowest geographic level which contains all three localities (county, region, or metro area). It's doubtful that the forum will be listed on its own, but will most likely be mentioned in the description.
  19. Re: Submission Status >I trust this won't affect our main listing submission that is currently pending? < Absolutely not. No worries /images/dmoz/purplegrin.gif
  20. Re: Submission Status >While this debate should be restricted to the internal ODP fora< Why, yes it should Apeuro. But since you're doing this here, I'll rephrase: Unless it has some sort of "Regional presence" it won't be listed in Winnipeg - that work for you?
  21. Re: Submission Status >often we allow sites to be listed once in Regional/ and once elsewhere< If this company doesn't have a storefront in Winnipeg, it won't get a Regional listing.
  22. The submission guidelines for Recreation/Collecting state: "All sites, which offer products and collectibles for sale on line and off line, should be submitted to Shopping/Antiques and Collectibles. Commercial sites will not be accepted in this category." Since your site is an online store (first line on your home page reads "Welcome to LLadro from Spain, the on-line store."), it was moved to Shopping.
