  1. Re: 3 months and waiting no reply - please help Actually lets keep all discussion here, since its gotten a couple of replies already.
  2. Please keep all discussion to this thread.
  3. Post it in the Site Submission Status forum.
  4. Actually, it looks like Lycos is violation of our Terms of Service. Every page using ODP data needs to display an unaltered verision of the Attribution Statement as is required by the ODP License.
  5. Ok, I'm a little confused. To begin with you don't include contact info on your page (email doesn't count). This is critical when submitting to a Regional category. Secondly, WHOIS states that voxtreme.com is registered in Missouri. Additionally you quote your prices in dollars, not Irish pounds (punts). Your site gives absolutely no indication it's based in Ireland - so why would you want to be listed in that category? Regional listings are based where your business is located. More specifically, in the locality of your business address.
  6. Ok, everyone who requested to have their status changed has had it done. Doug, are you really an editor or were you joking? /images/icons/wink.gif If you're not, perhaps you should join?
  7. Everyone here needs to cool their jets. There is no conspiracy here, one way or the other. Different editors have different opinions, which is one of the things that make the directory useful for our users. Bizrate.com is being actively assessed as to its suitability in the directory. A decision will come soon.
  8. Done. /images/icons/smile.gif
  9. Done. You're now a "meta". /images/icons/smile.gif

  11. And since now you're an editor again, you'll have the "Editor" title under your name the next time you post. /images/icons/smile.gif
  12. I've reinstated your account. Please let me know if you didn't receive my email, or the password reminder I sent you. /images/icons/smile.gif
  13. I was wondering too how to modify my UBB status from "Member" to "Editor"? What's the 'official' procedure to follow? Only Admins and Moderators can change a user's status to "Editor". This is so that we can verify you really are the editor you are claiming to be.
  14. Bataan, since you never were an editor I cannot "reinstate" your account.
  15. I wondered if my count could be reactivated, since I discovered it was a new feature. Did you fill out this form? If you did, and it still doesn't work for you, email me and I'll reinstate your universimmedia account.
  16. Bataan, lay off the sarcasm. It's not neccessary. You asked a very general question, and you received some general answers here. I'm afraid that unless you ask a more specific question, we won't be able to help you.
  17. Bataan, I closed your thread in the Guidelines forum, because I thought you were more comfortable discussing this issue in French. If you would like to continue discussing this issue in English, by all means you are welcome to do so. /images/icons/smile.gif
  18. Done. /images/icons/smile.gif
  19. Please continue this conversation in this thread. Thanks. /images/icons/smile.gif
  20. Please continue this topic in this thread. Thanks
  21. Done. /images/icons/smile.gif
  22. You can't. /images/icons/wink.gif These kinds of changes have to be done by an admin, so I went ahead and did them for you. /images/icons/smile.gif
  23. Editors are allowed to do whatever they want in their Bookmarks - which are considered a sandbox for editors to play in. This includes all sorts of stuff that would never be allowed in the regular directory.
  24. The ODP lists websites that offer unique content. Irregardless of whether or not your site is an online affiliate, it does not offer one iota of unique content. Your website basically provides leads to mortgage companies, it does not offer any unique content itself. As such it will not be listed.
  25. I am not a "under construction site" that lasted about three or four days back in November of 2001. I am not an affiliate site, that was never the case. No of course you're not. However the "Under Construction" page with affiliate links, you had on your site back in the day - no matter how briefly - could be the reason why someone might have thought your site had affiliate links. The point was really tangential to your question. /images/icons/smile.gif
