What can I do? Hello, I noticed this is one of the longest threads in this forum. Is there anything I can do to help resolve my issue and get the placement of my site among the other industrial designers? After such a long time, I'm willing to consider broad options. Thanks, Jeff Mowry

Waiting longer is OK, I suppose, but it seems a strange option for such an ambitious project (DMOZ). Need more editors? I'd like to clear this up soon, if possible. Anything I can do? Just checking on any progress. The redirect seems to work well. We plan to stop funding the old site after this quarter, so would like to get the update in place by then if possible. Any news? We got the 301 redirect rolling last week and it automatically brings users to our new page. Any news on the update? I still see our old site linked at the old location. Thanks for your help. Re: Update for designhaus-i-d.com OK, we got the redirect in place (finally). We had it, but then it didn't work. Turned out we had to change the name with the FTP client, since Windows named the file ".htaccess.txt", which doesn't work. Anyway, thanks so much for your help--it goes with your name. I didn't think our current page is a mirror since all the links point to our updated site, but otherwise the content on the first page is almost identical. Thanks for letting us know that can be a problem. I've seen some redirects that automatically redirect (using Java), but have a message page for a few seconds before doing so. Is this something that would qualify? If so, we can get that completed today or Monday and we'll be on our way. Thank you very much for your help. Jeff Mowry

Re: Update for designhaus-i-d.com Yes, I did make an update request instead of submitting a new site (didn't want the directory to become cluttered with an out-dated site like that). We switched to another host and domain name, so we wanted to coordinate the deletion of the first site with the addition of the second site, only with a switch of categories at the same time, if possible. (See first post here.) So, given where we are now, and the possibility of the original category of designhaus-i-d.com being altered since I requested the update, what do you recommend? Shall we resubmit the update or hope this works out or? Thank you for your reply. Perhaps the error lies in my original request for an update plus a category modification for the site listing.
