1. Just to let you know, the category got moved so it is not directly under Amusements - the link is now: http://dmoz.org/Business/Arts_and_Entertainment/Amusement/Rides/ The URL you mentioned is still awaiting review, along with about 40 others. Sorry the news isn't better - I would suggest you come back in a month or two to ask again, if it doesn't get listed.
2. No change on any aspect of the situation, I'm afraid - it appears that there are not many active editors in that part of the directory. However, your listing in the Regional part which was mentioned earlier, at least gives you one listing. Also, I can't really recommend any way for the site to get listed any quicker - you have done all the right things. Sorry the news isn't any better.
3. The URL is still awaiting review along with a small number of other sites.
4. Re: Status of http://www.readersrefuge.com.au Thank you for asking, I'm fine The site is still awaiting review.
5. We ask people to wait *at least* one month between requests, so that we don't get completely swaped with requests.
6. Your site is listed in http://dmoz.org/Regional/North_America/United_States/New_York/Localities/F/Freeport and is still in the list awaiting review at http://dmoz.org/Computers/Internet/Web_Design_and_Development/Designers/Full_Service/E/ along with 250 others. An no, I'm afraid we can't give you any idea how long it will take for this site to get reviewed. As you can probably imagine these categories are exceedingly busy, and the editors are volunteers, and we don't have a timetable for reviewing.
7. The site is still in the list to be reviewed, which contains about 20 entries.
8. Your site was reviewed and is listed in the category http://dmoz.org/Sports/Strength_Sports/Bodybuilding/Personal_Pages which the reviewing editor decided was the most appropriate category for it. Thanks for your inquiry.
9. Re: Status of www.chemicon.com There has been no change in the status of your submission. With regard to your second question, editors are not obliged to deal with submissions in the order they are added, so to give you a rank in the queue would be meaningless, I'm afraid.
10. Re: Site Status The URL that you asked about is not in the review queue that you mentioned in Item0. I also see no record that it has been deleted from that or any other queue. If you submitted to a different category, please let us know which one, so that we can check. If the category above is correct, then I would suggest you resubmit to that category. Assuming that the system is working correctly, any delete would be recorded. I see no recent deletions. Thanks

13. I haven't looked into this issue in detail, but a lot of our travel-related stuff is actually listed in the Regional tree in the area to which it is most appropriate. So I think it's difficult to make blanket statements like that.
14. Just in case editor Kastro is still reading this... and for the interest of anyone else submitting.... We have a policy to only list any site once in the Regional tree. Once a directory listing is published (and corrected) in one location, submitting it to another will just get rejected.
15. Hi Pat, I can't say for sure about the history of your site with the ODP, but looking at your site I can see that the main links - the ones for the games - are so-called affiliate links. The ODP has a policy not to list sites whose contents are affiliate links. This might well be the reason why your site might not get listed. Please see the ODP guidelines at http://dmoz.org/guidelines.html under the heading "Affiliate links" for further details. I hope this helps.
16. Just a note based on what you wrote - we don't use webpage design as a criterion for acceptance of sites. If a site contains useful information, which, as you say, isn't illegal, then eventually it will get listed. I can understand your frustration, though - because of the shortage of editors, in some areas of the directory we have sites which have been around for a lot longer than yours - it's not a situation any of us are proud of, but we are all volunteers and have limited time - we're doing what we can with the time we have. Have you considered helping out and becoming an editor yourself? :/images/dmoz/purplegrin.gif
