If your business has a brick and mortar location or a storefront - in other words a local presence - it is perfectly acceptable to submit your site to the proper Regional Locality. We love to list sites that qualify both in Regional and in topical categories. We are not going to list the deeplinks, just the main site but a listing in topical will not preclude you from a listing in regional as well, or vice versa. Hope this helps.

I updated the url and the title of the site. If you want to change categories you are going to have to submit an update url request to the category you want to change from. Give the public side of the directory a few days to update, don't use search to find your site, look at the category itself. Sometimes search takes longer to update. Have a Great Day!

The editors have determined placement. If you want to have the move considered submit an update url request but if it were me processing that I would leave you where you are. You are more business oriented and would not fit with the other standard shopping sites. - imho.

Re: Update for designhaus-i-d.com A 301 permanent redirect is really what you want. If you just want to put a note on the old page saying that you moved that will work as well. I would like to see you do the 301 permanent redirect just for you own good but however you want to do it. I just need to know it is the site owner asking for this.

Please note - if you can pass the meta review and you can submit 2 of your competitor sites - and describe them - lol - i figure that is good enough to tell you to take matters into your own hands. You might be the next editall. Who knows.

Still waiting. What have you done for me lately. How long are you going to stare at dmoz before you take matters into your own hands?

Re: Update for designhaus-i-d.com Ok, you are going to have to have your tech people do a 301 redirect on the old domain to the new one. It appears the content is mirrored but the 301 is the final proof. You should do that anyway as Google will penalize you if it finds mirrors of your site. If you do the 301 - post back and I will take care of the update for you.

Still waiting. The category last updated time is at the bottom of the category. That does not really tell you anything though. Nothing you can except for wait I am sorry to say. A volunteer editor will review the site suggestion eventually.

It was listed yesterday. Give the public side a week or whatever to update and you should be able to see it.

The editors answering status requests want to do that. The fact that your site has not been reviewed for so long indicates a lack of volunteer interest in that area of the directory. Editors edit where they want. Someone will get to it eventually.

Re: Site Disappeared Arguing about the decision here will not help. That is not what this forum is for. It appears crystal clear to me that the decision on the sites is final. You should consider alternative promotion venues.

It appears that we have declined to list the site. Please check the submission guidelines for possible reasons why.

Please wait at least one month between status checks. Hopefully the new editor will be successful in the category. Do not expect that because there is a new editor in the category your listing will be processed faster (though it seems like good news). I certainly hope it does - but hopes are just that when you are dealing with volunteers....
