Re: Submission status for http://www.leocanhelp.co I apologize for telling you to resubmit the site before looking to see if it was already waiting. Your submission is currently in the que awaiting review with a fair number of other sites. I have no time estimate for you but if you are still not listed after a month follow up on this thread. -

Re: Submission status for http://www.leocanhelp.co If it were me I would just resubmit the site. -
Not if it is a shopping site. The rules for the shopping category are one listing per store.
-
Please post a link to the category that you submitted to as it makes doing these submission status requests much easier. Thanks.

A good place to start out as an editor is the Regional locality you live in or a category that is for a hobby you are interested in. If you have a business affiliation with the category you are submitting to make sure you state it on your application - very important.
-
Please give the editor review process at least one month before you email anyone or post for a status report in this forum. If you want to tell the editor something put it at the end of your site submission as a note to the editor. Hope this helps -

While you are waiting to get listed in dmoz.org you can submit your site directly to Google http://www.google.com/addurl.html In my opinion, Google is absolutely the best in search and there is really no need to use anything else.
-
Please post a link to the site and we can give you more information. It really depends on how much content your pages have. Content is king in dmoz.org - if you have alot of it you can get deeplinks. Big however here though - deeplinking is the exception and not the rule. Have to add - it is up to the editor of the category or whoever reviews the site whether or not it is going to get listed - editors are all different so don't think that just because you get a deeplink somewhere or someone else has a deeplink that you will be listed. Unique Content is King!

Any lists that you want to post will be looked into and posting those lists is much appreciated.

I know my site is good because it is listed in Yahoo. -
It looks like your site was moved to a different regional category because it was a better. The category it was moved to was Umbria Real Estate and there is no backlog there. Also, the first two links on your page that deal with Properties for Sale and Properties for Rent are broken. You want to make sure that these links work when you do finally get a review or you might be rejected for being under construction. Good Luck!
-
Yes, mined for links means exactly what you think it does. If you do resubmit your site, Shopping would not be the place for it as you do not appear to sell anything. If you could find a category suitable for your other content you might try submitting there.
-
You may submit the page again to the English category now that you have English content. If you translate your site into other languages it would be proper to submit to those World categories as well. Submitting your site for each language it is available in is not considered spam.

Re: Stereology Site Your site is still waiting but I do not think it will be much longer.
-
If your business has a physical location you can submit your site to the appropriate Regional category and it might get reviewed faster. There is really nothing you can do about sites waiting for review - it takes as long as it takes.
-
I think you submitted to the wrong category. It appears that your site's main purpose is selling sports software and should have been submitted to http://dmoz.org/Shopping/Sports/Software/ you site was moved from Sports to Shopping where it sits waiting to be reviewed with a large amount of other sites. It might be a while before the site gets reviewed. My advice, resubmit your site to http://dmoz.org/Shopping/Sports/Software/ which has much less of a backlog of unreviewed sites. Hope this helps -
-
Why don't you apply to be an editor?
-
The site appears to be in the unreviewed que of the category. There is no backlog in that category. There is also no record of your site ever being touched in the ODP and the submission date reads very recently. There must have been a problem with your prior submissions but the site is waiting to be reviewed now. I am sorry but I have no estimate on how long it will take. If still have not been listed in one month follow up on this thread. Good Luck and hope this helps -
-
You are in the unreviewed que now - give it a month and if you still have not achieved joy follow up on this thread. Good Luck!
-
Can you please post a link to the category you submitted as it really helps when doing these category checks. Thanks.

If you are a business that has a physical location you qualify for a Regional listing in the dmoz.org directory. Regional listings do not count against you in getting listed in another branch of the directory. If you are having problem getting listed by your site's topic submit to the appropriate Regional Locality and I think you will be surprised how quickly you achieve joy. If you happen to hit an editalls or metas area of interest and your site is good you might get listed in that sought after topical category as well as in Regional - 2 listings. I suggest that if you qualify for a Regional listing and have not already submitted - do so now. my 2 cents.

You should resubmit the site. There is no record of your site ever being touched in dmoz.org and it is not waiting in the unreviewed que of the category you linked to. There must have been a problem with the submission process. It looks like the category has an editor and there is no backlog so if you resubmit I think you have a real good chance of getting in promptly though i cannot promise it. Good Luck and hope this helps -

Give it one month and if you still have not been updated follow up on this thread.

Posting a link to the category you submitted to really helps us do these status checks.
