I am relly sorry, but it has not been reviewed yet. In some areas - specially oin the Shopping/ tree - we have huge backlogs and as good as no active editors compared to that number. Since they normally are attracting a lot of spam, it is on th one hand difficult to find good (non-abusive) editors for that work, on the other hand the work is quite boring, so many experienced editors dislike working there. So I guess it will take its time - we don't know how long that might be.

There are lots of good sites out there, maybe yours is one of them. To keep this forum alive and a usefull source of information we can't follow the "Please process my site" requests. If we did, this forum would become useless within some days. So a posting in here won't have any impact on the time it takes for a site to be processed. Thanks for understanding.

Sorry to say, no significant change occured yet.

It is _reachable_ from the main site and a lot of information about it is available directly onthe site itself - see http://www.medical.philips.com/main/products/resuscitation/industry/home/index.html or anywhere around it. We don't care how the information is spread on the internet and if it is on one or multiple domains s long as it is one package.

"moved up" There is no "up" - editors may choose to process submissions in any order. "submit somewhere else" submitting to a wrong category instead of the right one will result in an editor moving it back into the right one. Normally he has no rights to edit this one, so it will stay unreviewed. --> Additional work with no benefit.

Of course we log IPs for submissions - but as you can imagine we don't hand them to the public for privacy reasons.

If the material is yours, you could claim your copyright. That is a legal issue, we can't give any legal advice - contact your lawyer about it. Regarding the forum guidelines, we do not discuss site contents in here. To find your texts, try to search for your texts with searchengines. Sorry, but that is no criteria. There are two scenarios: a) Content is copied as you say. We can't know who submits his site first / is listed first. Might be the originator of the content, might be someone who copied it. b) Someone sets up several mirrors. We might list one. Maybe. If the person does not spam the directory. If we feel that the content is worth it To be honest, its nearly impossible to differ between the two possibilities. In some areas we assume that submitters are nice, in others our experience tells us that they are not. We are very restricting with online-casino sites due to the heavy amount of online-casino-spam flooding the ODP. That may be unfair against honest people, but we simply have no choice.

Sorry, no. To save us some time, you might want to leave more than a mointh between requests. It will be listed eventually, regardless of you asking for status every month

Sorry to say, but nothing changed yet.

It was rejected for not offering unique service - being only a reseller.

An editor checked the site for unique content and couldn't find any. I have to say I agree with him. So: Not listable.

Re: Status of application 835f2c7840054320636 Hint: There might even be a comment at the end of the mail you received. If it is not, then the reviewing meta thought it is quite obviously one of the points mentioned in the mail.

We are starting to be offtopic, so just as a note: Since most people use nonstatic IPs of dialup odr DSL providers, that wont do you any good. You should check for those before blocking anything, you would just catch people doing you no harm. The offender will have a different IP the next time anyway. Apart from that it might have been a DNS propagation issue, if your servers moved for example. If uptime is very important to you, you might want to use a checking-service that is far away from your servers. Other side of the world preferred. So every problem on the way will be reported.

Looks like that area lacks good and hard working editors. I am afraud that not much has been done there in the meantime. That is the problem of projects where volunteers work: If there is a lack of qualified enthusiasts [hmmm, how do you write this word...] then work piles up.
