It is open. So much open that the amount of sites submitted is much more than the amount of about 5000 active editors can handle. As a result, processing times in some areas (especially those, where less people volunteer - mostly business areas) rise.

We normally do not give out precise numbers for some reasons. It is still a small queue. Can't check on your submission at ther moment - system nearly down on the editor side.

An editor with knowledge of italian might want to have a look at this thread in the Site Submission Status forum

Sorry, no change yet. And to be honest, with such a large queue I would not expect a change very soon...

Multilingual: Submit the same URL with a german / italian description to the apropriate categories in that language. Since the language is easily accessible from the main page, we prefer to list that one.

And another time: There is no queue in the traditional meaning. There is a number of sites that can be sorted in many different ways. Your site is still waiting.

Predictions tend to be wrong sometimes, that's why we normally don't make any <img src="/images/icons/crazy.gif" alt="" /> Sorry to say, but still no significant change.

Still waiting, sorry to say. But at least it _is_ still waiting :-)

If you feel like it, but please do not come back before a month is over - every request eats up valuable editor time that could be used for other purposes.

Then I'm sorry, it looks like that submission did not get through. I know, because I just rejected all waiting _update requests_ (not add URL requests) and yours was not among them <img src="/images/icons/smile.gif" alt="" /> (For all readers: Resist the need to add keywords to your title+description. We won't do that anyway)

Hmmm... Did you use the "Update URL" link at the top? I could not spot any updaterequests now, but it looks like an "Add URL" request was denied for being already listed...

None of your submissions was touched by an editor yet.

There is no "number of sites in front", so we can't fulfill that request. No regular queue in place. site is still waiting. (forum rules ask to wait _at least_ a month beore coming back. A lot of sites are waiting there, so I would suggest waiting a longer period - saves our time)

Re: koded.com - changed to koded.co.uk 1) If DMOZ would charge for submissions, most of the >5000 active editors would asap stop editing, it recently was considered as one of the beast features of the ODP in an internal poll. 2) Submissions are meant only as a help to the editors. Editors build fine categories. They may or may not use submitted URLs to do so. 3) WOf course sites are displayed as a list. What do you want me to sort by: URL? Subission date? Title? Something else? Or in other words: No, there is no fixed queue.

Sorry to say, but it still is a very crowded place with far more submissions than experienced editors who like to spend their time reviewing those sites. So: Not much changed yet.
