http://quicken.aol.com/?pid=785569880464212 should never have been listed and in fact was deleted last month. It just redirects users to quicken.com.

Site is still in unreviewed in the category and shows as being submitted on September 20th, not two months ago. At the bottom of the queue for a few dozen sites.

Having a different name doesn't stop you from replying to your own post.

Actually, it looked like you hit Submit twice, one after the other when you did resubmit. That was what I meant.

No need to wait or resubmit. It seems the site is just a travelnow affiliate front for car reservations and will not be listed.

Nothing personal to Caroline, but I think the thread has gone beyond its usefulness in the "Site Submission Status" forum. The status is known. There are better places to chat about getting a site to load properly (at all) across browsers and getting a Skip Intro option.

Editors don't have to review your specific entry immediately. As previously mentioned, there were and still are others in the queue. Most waiting much longer than yours.

For your reference, the "official" site is dmoz.org, not dmoz.net. There is a rather lengthy queue in that category, yours being one of them. Try not to keyword stuff the descriptions you submit. While I don't normally edit in the category, something like the following will be removed from the description, especially since at least one is duplicated... "Yanmar, Omap, Delphi, Bosch, Lucas, Denso, Stanadyne, Yanmar, Zexcel, L'Orange, and Racor."

URLs such as that will never be listed. Kinda needs a .com, .net, .biz, or some such ending.... :-)

Yes. The change was actually part of an automated process to flag dead/problematic sites.

It also seems that http://www.ukstate.com/ is already listed in that category which redirects to a deep link within your company site.

Just because the government is one of your clients doesn't mean you should be listed with the Government category. By the way, your image at http://www.tso.co.uk/images/tso&strapline.gif is corrupted.

I fixed the typo in the description. Your update request is still in the queue for an editor more familiar with the category to review.
