Yes, that happens.

Then sometimes hundreds of sites get reviewed in a weekend.

It depends on what people volunteer to do.

Be thankful for the editors that do decide to edit in Shopping. They do a great job! I have nothing but respect for our Shopping editors. There are only so many editors and there are lots of sites listed in Shopping as well as waiting. And BTW - I happen to know for a fact that the Dog categories have been edited recently. Maybe not those specific ones but we will get to them eventually.
