895-domain-name-registration.com

Hi,

I have submitted my site (http://895-domain-name-registration.com) about a month ago (beginning of May, I think) to the category: http://dmoz.org/Computers/Internet/Domain_Names/8/. I just checked and still do not find it in the directory yet. Is there a way for me to know if someone has reviewed it yet and if not how much longer should I wait? I was considering resubmitting it but just thought may be I should drop a note here first.

If my site was rejected then I would be interested to know what I should do to rectify any problem with the site. Thanks for your kind assistance.

Hmmm... In the category there are only 2 submissions waiting. But in the whole Alphabet thats in Domain-Registration there are quite a big bunch of unreviewed sites. It might take a lot of time, very sorry to say that...

So does this mean I should just keep on waiting instead of resubmitting my site again? Thanks for your quick response.

I think he means they are the same sites as far as FAQ pages and other information pages. /images/icons/smile.gif

Seems the site that you want to register has several clones. If these are not yours (which I doubt) you should seek copyright infringement issues.

They all have the same Whois data. I would try to give them some unique pages before trying to submit to DMOZ /images/icons/wink.gif

hmm...this is strange. I didn't come across this before. I do know there are a number of companies that are using the same domain registration software that I'm using currently so it's no surprise that you see it on other sites too. As for the faqs and other stuffs, maybe these guys have copied my pages without informing me about it. Let me check it out with them. Thanks for letting me know about this!

Umm..... The whois registration data lists the same owner for all three domains/sites. DMOZ will not hold "this" against you for having three sites. They just cannot contain the same information/pages. You can ask an editor for a more detailed explanation of this as I am just a user of these forums.
