Hi, I applied as an editor for a listing
http://dmoz.org/Sports/Motorsports/Auto_Racing/Drag_Racing/Bracket_Racing/ My application was not approved, since I didn't have the three additional site fields filled in. After reading the reply to my application, I am now wondering a couple things.
The first is, as an editor, is part of the "job" or experience, to actually go out and find new sites to include in the directory? I used to be a moderator of a large (260 sites) web ring on bracket racing, and keeping the ring alive was a fairly large job in itself, not to add in finding new sites.
But also, concerning the three additional sites, from the application, is this what we are to do? To go and find three appropriate sites to include in the directory?

That's the most important part of the job. Other aspects include maintaining current listings, helping with overall quality, and improving the editor community. But the fundamental task is to add high quality websites to the directory, with guidelines compliant titles and descriptions.
