about affiliate websites pls..

wt do you think is the right category to submit for affiliate websites. i tried checking it in references section but only websites related to computers are listed there. some categories mention that affiliate websites should not be submitted here but submitted to a proper category. What is that category is unknown. Is there soemone who has been successful in submitting any affiliate websites?

Most websites are about some topic. If you search on the topic, you should find the right general area; further exploration should get you to the right category.

If your website isn't about a topic but is just a collection of affiliate links, we won't list it. See this section of our guidelines Sites Generally Not Included.

thanks for your reply.. i have one general topic to cater to.. i tried submitting it around 4 months back and got an e-mail i remember which says that since the website is a doorway to xyz.com, it wont be listed. Is an affiliate website considered a doorway?
