Added then Removed from DMOZ

I did a backlink check and found that I had several links back from sites that display DMOZ directory links. For example, here are some of the listings in Yahoo:

<irrelevant stuff removed>

It appears that I was listed in DMOZ in the Health/Men's Health/Baldness directory, which is where I applied for my <url removed> site.

I have seen a couple cached examples where the site link to my site. Though, when I go to DMOZ I'm not listed in that portion of the directory. Has anyone ever seen where a site has been added and then removed?

Over the lifetime of the ODP, millions of listings have been added and removed.

Thanks for the response.

Can you provide me with any insight into why I would get listed and then immediately removed?

Reason for removing are
* site doesn't meet current DMOZ guidelines
* site was listed in wrong category and is now waiting review in the correct category
* site was not available for some time, it is moved back to the pool with sites to be reviewed with a special mark so that a human can check the site's condition

We have no way of removing a site gradually. It's always immediate.

What was that movie? The Forgotten? or the Star Trek:TNG episode "Remember Me"?

What's up with that comment? I think you know what I mean when I say "immediately."

I asked nicely and didn't accuse ODP of being a facist organization or get negative like other people that post here. So why can't you just give me a straight answer?

All I wanted to know what why my site got added and them removed a short time later. But, you don't need to answer that because I've already got an answer from someone within ODP who really does want to keep the integrity of ODP.

You can now go to another post and work on wasting their time by responding unnecessarily.
