I have submitted my site and it has not been listed. I assume the reason is because I sell a product that is marketed by an MLM company. My issue is that my site is a yahoo store that sells retail only and doesn't even mention a business opportunity. It is frustrating because there are a 1/2 dozen sites listed who are promoting the MLM which I thought was not allowed. Please advise.

>>I assume the reason is because<<

You have no idea, and neither do I. You attribute action where inaction is _most likely_ the cause.

It would help to know what site we were talking about, otherwise it is just speculation.

That would be a good enough reason.

So what? The ODP problem with MLM is not that they make fraudulent claims about business opportunities, but that there's no value to the surfer in listing 10,000 sites where they could buy the same product ... they could have bought directly from the maker.

It's not allowed, and it is frustrating to us also when those things slip in. They make the whole directory look bad, as you can easily see by reading public forums.
