I have submitted the home page of David Stanley redfern Ltd <url removed> twice under different categories, the last time was on the 24th October.

How long does it take to be reviewed and will I be notified if I have been rejected.

Hi

Could i suggest you read the followng http://www.dmoz.org/add.html

Step 3: Identify the single best category for your site.

The time it takes for reviewing a site can be from hours to years & there are no guarantees of its inclusion.

Its also unlikely that a reason for rejection would be given by the reviewing editor.

twice under different categories
We both know that it's been rather more scattergun than that. Please adhere to our submission guidelines at http://dmoz.org/add.html and don't suggest your website any more.

Some volunteer editor will evaluate it in time but we don't know when or what the result will be.

For a lot more detail on the process, please see our FAQ.

Scattergun?

I*'m sorry but what do you mean it's been more scattergun than that. I have submitted the David Stanley Redfern homepage twice, though both times the spam protection letters have been so unclear that I've had to go back and do it again and again till I could get the letters right. If they've been going on as submission despite the fact I was getting the letters wrong then I apologize. Otherwise someone else must have been submitting the site, because like I say I have submitted it twice to different categories, each time folloing the guidelines to the letter, short descriptive title, 25-30 word description. And the second time I picked about the most specific category I could so fingers crossed...

He means exactly what he said, the suggestions are not quite twice to two different categories. And refreshing the CAPTCHA letters wouldn't change the category to which you were suggesting to each time.
