Re: status on submission

Your site hasn't been evaluated yet. What category did you submit it to?

Re: status on submission

I'm pretty sure it was:
Business: Business Services: Communications: Motivation

but I'm not positive. Should I resubmit to this category? Thanks for your help!

No don't resubmit. Your site is waiting patiently in the queue with around 60 others. /images/icons/smile.gif

I'm thinking about switching the category to: Science > Social Sciences > Psychology > Alternative > Neuro Linguistic Programming > Trainers
Is that something I can do at this time? Would I just submit to that category? Can you check to see if anyone is waiting in that queue? Thanks!

Generally speaking, you should only submit to one category, and that category should be the one that your site fits best in. You really shouldn't base it off of how many unreviewed are in the category. You should submit to the deepest category in the directory that your site fits in, as it will end up there anyway, and you will save a lot of time sitting in the unreviewed queue, as deeper categories have less unreviewed. In terms of deciding which category you really should submit to, an idea that usually works is to look and see where your competitor's sites, or sites like yours are listed, and USUALLY that would be the appropriate place for your site. No matter the case, the editor reviewing the site should forward it to the appropriate category if you did not submit to the right category. You should still try to submit to the most exact category for your site in the first place though, as this will speed up listing time imensely.
