Application but no notification

My recent (mid-March 04) editor application did not result in any confirmation being sent to my e-mail address, however when trying to re-apply I was notified that I "can only have one application at a time".

Is there a delay in between applying and recieving a ticket? If not, can the confirmation be re-sent so I have a ticket number etc?

You should have received the confirmation e-mail almost immediately. Sometimes spam filters redirect those e-mails for some reason so you have to keep an eye on any spam folders for those confirmation e-mails.

If we know the category that you applied for and the editorname you chose we could maybe get our tech support person to re-trigger the confirmation, but it might take a while for them to get to it.

You could always apply again with a different e-mail address and editorname.
