Application process

Hello.
Can anyone tell me the sequence of events for becoming an editor ?

I applied a few days ago, I am not concerned about the time involved, a few days is not long. However, when I submitted the form I was anticipating am acknowledgment page and I did not get one. Therefore, I am not sure if my application ever went through. It was for the recreation-antiques-ceramics section.

I'm not seeing any application for Recreation/Antiques/Ceramics_and_Pottery/. You should have received a confirmation e-email which you are required to reply to before your application will actually be entered into the database for review. Did you submit your application using a Hotmail or Yahoo e-mail address? Sometimes the confirmation e-mail gets rerouted by spam filters. Look to see if you have anything in the folder where the spam would be sent to if you have such a thing.

If this isn't the case then you'll just have to resubmit you application.

I had a suspicion that the system was not working. I guess I will have to do it all again.

Hmmmm I still seem to be getting the same problem. When I submit the form it just goes back to the form but is not getting emailed to the ODP,
Any alternatives ?

You might want to try submitting the application using a different web browser. I know people have reported better success with Netscape or Mozilla browsers. Just a thought.
