Thanks for the prompt response. Much appreciated.

However, as this is the first time that i have applied with Dmoz, was wondering if you could help me with a couple of queries.

1. Someone told me that when applying to a small directory, there is a possiiblity that the category has no active evaluator. In such a scenrio, the application may never get evaluated. How accurate is this info?
2. If the above is untrue, how long should i wait for the response?
3. Is there any way to speed up the process?

Once again, thanks in advance!

Wrong. All applicatons are handled by the same group of (very experienced) editors.

2. If the above is untrue, how long should i wait for the response?
Unfortunately, until it arrives. All our work - including this - is done by volunteers like you want to become one, and as a result we cannot predict processing times.

3. Is there any way to speed up the process?
Nope, sorry.

If you are interested, you might want to have a look at http://www.dmoz.org/docs/en/guidelines/meta/apps.html and the surrounding documents.

The first listing in this cat, <URL removed>, is listed at least five times within Society/. That looks like about four times too many to me.

As far as i understand the issue, i guess 'honesty' here needs to be confined within the supposed norms of neutralism. Nevertheless, will give it another try someday.
