I applied to
Top: Regional: Oceania: New Zealand: Auckland: Recreation and Sports
and was sent 2 confirmation emails. I replied to both
and received 2 emails saying:

Your Open Directory editor application could not be confirmed.
The error received was:

Bad authentication ticket

Many other people have the same problem with applying, and additionally new editors are also having problems logging in.

Wait for further instructions. Keep an eye on the two threads mentioned above. There is a known bug, caused by an unknown problem.

Someone is looking into it. It may take quite some time to fix.

So does that mean I'm "confirmed" in the system?

No, it doesn't. It means you need to wait for further information which we'll give out when we have it. Right now, we don't know when the problems will be cleared up.

they are getting there (fixing the bugs), I've 2 emails now reconfirming. In both the subject line was in the body so I copied it into subject and sent them. Now for the waiting game.
