Application Status-saxor

Hi:
I have wanted to contribute as an editor to this category for a long time:
Regional: Europe: Spain: Autonomous Communities: Balearic Islands: Ibiza

This category has had an editor for a long time, but it is an area where I have some expertise as webmaster of many of the sites in this category for over the last 7 years, and I think this category could easily use two or more editors as it is growing very quickly. and has become pretty stagnated.

Long story short:
I applied on JULY 3: c80ce15e2a6c83e5f0e99897317313f
and got the response: "Thanks for applying to become an editor! You wil recieve a reply as soon as your application has been reviewed.

Since then nothing......

I know you guys are swamped, that is why I have waited 2 months to post to this forum......

Could anyone give me an update?

saxor, you won't be granted a second editor ID. Your only chance of becoming an editor again is to request reinstatement (I know you already know that).

Thanks for the lightening fast response.....however,
I have already tried the reinstatement route (twice).....with the same results.....no response.....

I figured that since my editor privileges were revoked way back in the 2000...for not editing in a 30 day period....that I must have been dropped off the former edit list.

Are you saying I should try it again?
